Crochet Pattern
for a headband

This pattern is crocheted using single crochet, half double crochet, chain stitches, and double crochet.

The width of the headband is determined by the starting chain; the circumference can be adjusted individually.

For a head circumference of 52–54 cm and a width of approx. 9 cm, you’ll need less than 50 grams of yarn.

Knitting pattern for a scarf

This fantastic pattern is created using only knit and purl stitches.

The pattern is written in detail, so even beginners with a little knitting experience can follow along.

Using 300 grams of Rowan Super Fine Merino 4ply yarn (165 m / 50 g), I achieved a finished length of 166 cm (short side) / 220 cm (long side) and a width of 26 cm.

Knitting pattern for a hat in 8 sizes.

The hat is knitted with a set of double-pointed needles, and you should be familiar with knit and purl stitches. The loop pattern is explained in great detail in the pattern with pictures.

Well, what would I recommend to stay warm through the winter? It should definitely be something handmade from “real” wool, because only that really keeps you warm. My suggestions for you would be:

For always-warm feet: Felted boots with a roll-down cuff

or maybe the flatter version: felted moccasins

or do you have lots of colorful leftover felting yarn? Then maybe you’d prefer felted shoes made from leftover felting yarn
with handmade leather soles:

or One-Step felted booties? Here, the cuff is knitted on and felted at the same time.

If you only need soles for your boots or clogs, you can make those yourself too: felted soles

For a warm body:
Maybe a warm poncho? Just something to throw on, casual, stylish, and warm:

For warm hands: wrist warmers with a decorative cable and shaped thumb:

The Featherlight infinity scarf keeps you warm even though it’s very light, because it is knitted from cashmere yarn. Anyone who gets tense neck muscles in winter from time to time will love it. It doesn’t weigh you down and really provides warmth. You won’t want to take it off.

For a warm head
Maybe a thick felted hat with matching infinity scarf - no wind is guaranteed to whistle through there. Even so, you won’t sweat under it because felted wool is breathable.

Or would you prefer a lovely thick and decorative winter hat? Here is the hat “Andrea” with matching scarf or infinity scarf. It is double-knit and therefore keeps you twice as warm.

A little thinner, but still warming (because it’s wool), is the casual slouchy hat with scarf. Young girls especially love this hat shape.

And there’s also a warming neck warmer. The free pattern is available here.

And for the kids I have another lovely recommendation. The free pattern for the Spiralibus hat. All kids simply love it, I promise.

And something pretty for the little girls: also a free pattern for a pointed hat and a matching triangular scarf with a little lace edging on it.

And our Barbies need something warm to wear in winter too.
How about a turtleneck sweater?

Or a cardigan?

Or a poncho with hat and extra turtleneck?

Or even the Ice Princess Coat?

I wish you lots of joy with your favorite project.
Warm regards from Ina

Yes, even Barbie dolls want to stay warm through the winter.

With a sweater and long pants they definitely won’t be cold. Depending on the material you crochet with, very different looks can be created. The sweaters on the far left and far right in the picture were crocheted with sock yarn, the red sweater with red glitter yarn, and the gray one with mohair yarn.

When it’s time to go outside, it takes a little more:

With a fur hat, fur jacket, and loop scarf they’re properly dressed for a long winter walk. The faux-fur effect of the hat and jacket is created when you use cuddly yarn (here, Doudou by Lang Yarns).

When temperatures drop below freezing, it’s finally cold enough to go ice skating:

Barbie then wears a cute short ice-skating outfit with matching earmuffs.
You can also make the ice skates yourself from hot glue and paper clips.

And when she comes home thoroughly chilled, Barbie warms up in the sauna

and snuggles into a cozy bathrobe.
You can crochet the bathrobe with or without a hood. You’ll also find the pattern for the slippers and Ken’s bathrobe in this pattern.

You can crochet all of this from leftover yarn. Difficulty level of the patterns: easy.

These warm feet are taken care of by these socks, knitted using the double-face technique:

The simple triangular shawl Minto keeps your shoulders warm.
Thanks to its simple design, the color gradient of the cake yarn shows off especially well.

Since a winter without a sweater is unimaginable:
RVO Hishi - can be adjusted to your desired size.
