With the Tamburin Shawl, you can knit up all your leftover yarn, since the pattern can be knitted continuously even when changing colors. For the border, use a 100g skein of sock-weight yarn with its own pattern, and for the middle section, you can use any colors you like.

The two patterns are written out row by row and also shown in chart form.

Got lots of colorful leftover yarn? Doll clothes are always a great idea! For this charming rainbow dress for Barbie dolls, you’ll only need about 20–27 g of cotton yarn in total, depending on whether you want to crochet the short or long version. If you divide that among the different colors, it’s less than 4 g per color. So you can really use up even the tiniest leftovers of yarn. And your little daughter or granddaughter is sure to be thrilled with this great dress!

You can also use up lots of small amounts of leftover yarn by crocheting finger puppets—for example, with the Value Pack: Kasperltheater Finger Puppets
It includes patterns for Kasperl, Gretel, Seppel, Grandmother, Princess, King, Crocodile, Robber, Policeman, and Witch, which you can design however you like (and based on the leftover yarn you have on hand).
And if you enjoyed that and would like to crochet even more finger puppets, you’ll find the patterns here!

Christmas is coming faster than you think!
How about crocheted nativity figures? This leftover yarn project is sure to be a lot of fun! For the Three Wise MenCaspar, Melchior, and Balthazar with their animals—elephant, camel, and horse—sparkly leftover yarn works especially well. You can also use gorgeous bright colors here. The pattern describes exactly how much and which yarns I used. But of course, you can adapt the pattern to your leftover yarn. Then you’ll get your own unique nativity scene that no one else has.
You can find more nativity figures and more Christmas patterns, all of which can be crocheted with leftover yarn, here!

We all know it. The leftover yarn is sitting in the basket, waiting for a suitable project. Often something is made from it, only to end up back in the basket because there are simply too many ends to weave in.
BUT not with this shawl!! Here you can use up all your leftover yarn, you don’t have to weave in any ends, and there are no purl stitches either. Wonderful!!!! So grab your needles :-)

This sleeping bag for small dolls or cuddly toys (20 cm tall) is easy to knit from leftover yarn. It works up quickly, and little ones will be much more eager to go to bed afterwards. After all, their favorite toy is already tucked up in the sleeping bag.

The pattern package includes two different versions. Both are very easy to knit and are well suited to beginners with some knitting experience.

These “scrap eaters” look fun and are very versatile. Kids especially love them—even at children’s birthday parties. And of course, they also fit perfectly into a school cone—filled, of course.

You can crochet and decorate them using lots of scraps—even tiny ones. Maybe your kids will even want to join in.

Perfect for beginners (with basic skills).

You only need small amounts of leftover yarn for these hairbands with their pretty lace pattern, too. The colors can be combined however you like, for example to match crocheted or knitted clothing.

A lovely little project on the side for experienced knitters.

How about a lovely stuffed heart? You can make it in two sizes, depending on the thickness of the yarn used. You can use it as a gift tag, keychain, decoration, or scented sachet for the wardrobe.

For the large version made from “Bingo” 125 m/50 g, you need half a skein, and for the small version only 5 g of a much thinner yarn (“Alize Forever” 300 m/50 g). You could make a pretty keychain from just these 3 grams.

Click here for more photos, information, and the pattern.

I hope you enjoy the pattern. Yours, Ina

Crochet pattern for individual flowers, which you crochet onto the previous one in the last round.

This can create a large blanket

or a small doily—oval or round, just as you like.

Basic knowledge of single crochet, chain stitches, and double crochet should be present.

The dreamcatcher feather symbolizes freedom, lightness, and creativity. That makes it a lovely companion for you or someone who is important to you.

You can make the feather in your favorite colors, give your leftover yarn a new shine, and create beautiful bag charms, gift tags, garlands, keychains, and dreamcatchers!
Any yarn made up of several twisted strands is suitable for this.

The cup warmer sleeve is very easy to crochet. It keeps your drink warm and protects your hands. The cup sleeve fits all standard 300 ml and 500 ml reusable cups, as well as large mugs and cups with handles! The mug warmer makes a lovely gift for women and men.

There are also lots of lovely ways to use leftover sponge yarn :-)

For example

The wash pads made from sponge yarn in a shell shape are great as facial cleansing pads and bring a touch of vacation feeling and wanderlust into your bathroom.

You can also crochet the shells from other yarn and use them for your beach decor and garlands, or as gift tags and bag charms.

You can find the shell pattern here

Or

This cute dog cheerfully greets you in the bathroom in the morning when you’re still half asleep.

And this little facial cleansing sponge is, of course, also an original gift for other dog fans.

It’s also super quick to crochet and sew together.

The dog’s head is crocheted as a wash pad from sponge yarn.
But you could also crochet it from other yarn and sew it on as an appliqué to your favorite bag, your favorite shirt, or your favorite hat.

You can find the friendly dog here

Or: crochet an exotic flower. Flowers are always beautiful. Even in the bathroom or in the kitchen

This tropical hibiscus flower is not only a colorful and unusual eye-catcher for your bathroom or kitchen—it’s also a practical little sponge that you can use for showering, bathing, or washing glasses.

The enchanting flower is just right for crochet beginners: it is crocheted in rounds using single crochet and double crochet stitches and is finished in no time.

You can find the pattern here
