Birthday

Hi there, I’m Heide, and I was born on February 25, 1944, in East Prussia.
I got back into crocheting and knitting thanks to my great-granddaughter Robin, who is 2 1/2 years old.
I’ve been painting in watercolor and acrylic for years, and recently I’ve started sewing again. I have
sewn an Advent calendar for my granddaughter.
I also have my dog and my boyfriend.

I have 3 sons and 4 grandchildren.

I also got back into knitting and crocheting thanks to my granddaughter 2 1/2 years ago, and now I’ve really gotten into it. My granddaughter will turn 3 in March, and her little sibling is due at the end of May.

I also really enjoy painting—so we have quite a bit in common. I used to sew when my son was little. The Advent calendar I sewed back then is now with my granddaughter. :)

A tip from me:
If you want to reply in a thread, please go all the way down / scroll to the text field. That’s where it says “Write a reply.” Write your reply there and then click the blue button below the text field that says “Add comment.”

If you click the blue “+Create topic” button, which can always be found at the very top, then you are creating a new thread instead of writing a reply.

However, if you do want to create a new thread, then the “+Create topic” button is of course okay.
