Here, “hot dogs” are taken quite literally! These crocheted “hot dogs” make for an original table decoration for your party or a quick snack.

You can quickly crochet a hot dog like this using a few scraps of cotton yarn (e.g., Catania by Schachenmayr). Since only single crochet stitches are used, this project is also suitable for beginners. The pattern provides detailed step-by-step instructions with pictures for each step.

I hope you have fun making them and enjoy your meal!

Brand new and my contribution to the January 2019 color campaign is the cuddly cat Carlo.
With its cute cat design, eye-catching colors, and big eyes, it’s a real eye-catcher and makes dreaming seem even easier.
It’s also especially well suited as a neck roll.

Once finished, Carlo will be approx. 46 cm long and 20 cm tall (measured without the tail).
When using the specified hook size and yarn weight.
You will receive a detailed 11-page pattern with lots of photos to follow. Also suitable for ambitious beginners with basic skills.

The unicorn hobbyhorse Violetta is my contribution to the current color challenge and an absolute must-have for all unicorn fans! The stick isn’t made of wood, but rather a soft pool noodle. This reduces the risk of injury or damage, even when Violetta is flying around especially wildly.

The head is crocheted from super-soft fluffy yarn. The big eyes, mane, and pool noodle are in girls’ favorite color: purple.

The 9-page pattern includes plenty of tips for crocheting with fluffy yarn, so this often (unfairly) dreaded yarn shouldn’t give you any trouble. But of course, Violetta can also be crocheted with “regular” yarn. In that case, however, you’ll definitely need to pay attention to the yarn’s thickness to ensure the head turns out big enough.

Just in: Sagoromo , a women's RVO that can be made as either a sweater or a dress.

You can adjust Sagoromo to your size and leave your sewing needle aside, as the design is seamless.

For the model shown, you'll need either 250 g of 4-ply yarn (50% cotton, 50% acrylic) for the sweater or 400 g of the same yarn for the dress.

You can find more information in the product description.

In these frosty temperatures, Barbie is going ice skating. Of course, she needs a pretty skating outfit for the occasion. It features a short, full skirt and long sleeves. The dress is trimmed with shimmering fur along the hem and neckline. Barbie also wears matching earmuffs.
The dress looks wonderful in both bold and pastel colors. It is crocheted using Catania fine (LL 165m/50g). The “fur” is made from sponge yarn (Creative Bubble). A special bonus: you’ll also get instructions for how to make ice skates for Barbie dolls using hot glue!

Freshly put on: BLACK ELOISE HAT,
a sophisticated women’s hat in bowler style in 4 different sizes!

…“With a hat, a woman becomes a lady; the men all lose their heads – oh my!”…

Crocheted with bulky yarn, single crochet stitches, “strong determination” (and crochet skills!), measuring head circumference, slip stitches, and oval rounds come together to create a hat design that strongly recalls the wonderful men’s bowler hats of the 19th century.
And maybe a lovely hatband in various shades to go with it?...no problem.

In the crochet pattern you’ll find a stitch guide, as well as a small crochet tutorial on special slip stitches. Gauge and WPI will then help you find the perfect yarn weight.

"Hats off...hat on...!!!"
Happy crocheting!
Your Frau Bidder

The Subsidio hat, crocheted with post double crochets—once you get the hang of it, it works up really quickly. For adults, made with leftover yarn—here it is:

And if this hat has inspired you to make your own, here’s the link:

Have fun making it!
