Weekend Plans and Christmas Plans

Today we’re heading to the Christmas market in Celle for a little stroll :-) Hopefully the weather will get even better—it’s raining pretty hard here right now.

On Saturday, after a 5-week break, we’re finally going back to our favorite Greek restaurant; even if we don’t eat there, we’ll at least wish them a Merry Christmas and have a little drink—I’m really looking forward to it :-)

On Sunday, we’ll sleep in and take it easy so we can start the Christmas holidays at a leisurely pace on Monday.

On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, we’ll be with my in-laws, and on Boxing Day, we’ll make ourselves comfortable at home.

Everything’s very relaxed and cozy—yes, that works too :-)

I wish everyone a wonderful 4th Sunday of Advent and a great Christmas. My wish for everyone is to stay healthy and not let stress get to you.

Things will be pretty laid-back for us, too. Maybe I’ll go shopping tomorrow and watch all the stressed-out people :-) I always enjoy doing that when I’m relaxed and have finished my own stuff.

  On Christmas Eve, I want to take Anton to a nativity play for the very little ones (crawling to the manger). Starting at 5, my parents and mother-in-law will come over for a raclette dinner. On Christmas Day, we’re going to my mother-in-law’s for goose dinner, and on the 2nd, I’m working. It’ll definitely be really busy there.

Overall, though, it’ll be very quiet.  

I’m planning a relaxing weekend since I’m already done with everything—I just need to pick up some groceries, which I’ll do this afternoon. On Christmas Eve, I’m driving out to the countryside with my dog and son to visit my parents, where I’ll also be spending the holidays. We’ll have a cozy celebration with my family, complete with a tree and a few homemade gifts, but the most important thing is that we’re together—that’s what matters most to us.
