Dear users, dear designers,
have you already gathered all your Christmas gifts?
Let me know.

Hi,

I still need to finish Baby Emmi, and I’m missing two bottle wrappers.

I’ve already finished a mermaid bag, one Baby Emmi, and seven bottle wrappers.

Unfortunately, I haven’t gotten around to anything else yet.

Best regards, Heike

Oh, Heike, you’ve already gotten a lot done. :)
I just need to finish knitting the sweater for my granddaughter. I still need to knit the rest of one sleeve and the collar. Then it can be on its way.

Best regards, Monika

We don’t exchange gifts at Christmas; we usually treat ourselves to a winter vacation, but that’s been canceled for health reasons. Now we’re making ourselves cozy here; we’re giving my in-laws the Christmas tree, which we’ve already got :-)

Cookies and roasted almonds will be given as little gifts, and that’s all ready. So as far as I’m concerned, Christmas can come :-)

I’d need a whole army of little helpers to still be able to carry out all my plans…
The two pairs of arm warmers and the baby things absolutely have to be finished (just a few tiny details left), but I’d actually like to make a few more little things—it’s just: when?

Yes, I’ve already gotten quite a bit done, but somehow time is getting away from me.

On Friday I have to pack my bags, because we’re leaving for vacation
overnight into Saturday.

I really don’t know when I’m supposed to get everything done, especially since I’m still working through
Thursday.

Best, Heike

I’m running out of time, and the aggressive crowds in the department stores and on the streets are starting to get on my nerves. I just need to make two more winter liqueurs, then I’ll have everything ready, and Christmas can come. But the hustle and bustle and the aggression around me are really wearing me out, and I’m starting to wish Christmas were already over.

These days, I only buy my gifts online. No reason to go out in this cold :-)
But I haven’t bought anything yet either.

I’m all set!
I’m only giving gifts to my daughter and her family, and I sent the package off early this morning. Now it just has to arrive on time :-). But I only sewed some diapers for my grandson’s doll myself and baked two stollen; everything else was bought. So of course that was pretty quick :-).

I feel like Christmas is getting more and more stressful every year. Maybe I’m just getting old :P But at least all the gifts are ready.

I actually managed it... not to have a single homemade gift :(

Oh well, whatever...

I still need 4 more gifts... 1 bigger one (but I already know what that is) and 3 smaller ones.
I’ll manage—off into the fray tomorrow :)

We’ve got everything ready, too. Nobody wanted anything handmade, and we’ve already bought everything. The window gnomes we ordered have found new owners, too. So everything’s all set—now we just need to buy a tree.

Actually, I’m already all set—the packages are wrapped and on their way... but the annoying thing is that I always end up thinking of something else I could make for one person or another... like honey-walnuts or caramel with walnuts for my in-laws—I just finished those too, and they’re waiting to be given as gifts... I love giving gifts—almost more than receiving them.

Yep! Just finished wrapping them (I completely forgot that tomorrow is already the first day of the holidays!).

Gifts = checked!
Tree = checked!
Christmas dinner = checked!
Christmas shopping to get us through the next 4 days = checked!

Hmm… everything’s done—I have a feeling someone’s going to get sick right on the 24th again; otherwise, it would almost be too good to be true :-)))

Why is it that you always end up thinking of something else you absolutely have to make and give as a gift? I just crocheted ten snowflakes that weren’t on my list—these things are just so addictive! Oh well, that means the wrist warmers aren’t finished yet, and I’d actually like to knit a dishcloth for a friend too, so she gets something homemade as usual. Tonight I still have to block the snowflakes at home...

Just finished: doll clothes for the pair of baby dolls my granddaughter is getting for Christmas. It was a bit last-minute—my daughter didn’t tell me until two days ago... So I sewed them; crocheting or knitting would have taken too long.
Other than that, everything’s wrapped, except for two gifts that will hopefully arrive in the mail in time.
Tomorrow I’ll go shopping, on Saturday we’ll decorate the tree, and on Sunday I’ll prepare the Christmas dinner… I’m still right on schedule :-)

Oh, Ruth, that’s so cute! It almost makes me want to play mom to dolls again. :)
That’s sure to make the kids’ eyes light up with joy.

I also managed to finish the sweater for my granddaughter, of course.

Other than that, there aren’t any gifts. We’re giving each other time ... and we’ll enjoy delicious food together and play games. We’ll go for walks, of course, and watch some nice movies.

Having time is truly something precious that I really appreciate! :)
And of course, I’ll happily keep my needles busy.

Merry Christmas to all of you, and lots and lots of time for everything you love!

Warm regards
Monika
