I’m working all day today, but tonight I’ll be working on the baby blanket. Ever since the baby arrived, I’ve been back in the swing of things. 

I’ve now crocheted ear pads for my headphones, too. They feel super cozy and warm on my ears. :) I’ve even finished the pattern. So I’ve reached my goal for the day.

I want to have the sweater for my granddaughter finished by Wednesday at the latest, because it still needs to be mailed. Phew...

I only managed to do a little Christmas baking here and there. But I plan to do some more this week.

I just put the dough for the Totenbeinli in the fridge… Our daughter was here over the weekend, and we made seven kinds of cookies, but we’re still missing a few!
The weather is very unpleasant—gray, wet, and it’s raining at times.
This afternoon I made a little pyramid to use as packaging for a mini ornament with a knitted cover, and after dinner I’ll get back to working on the wrist warmers; I’d like to drop a pair off at the post office.

Today I had pasta with savoy cabbage.

I’ve started crocheting a dress again so I can write a pattern for it.

Tomorrow, I’m planning to go shoe shopping, visit the library, and check out the Christmas market in Frankfurt.

Yesterday was an all-too-hectic day—work, one-on-one session, group session, shopping, cooking, walking the dog, tidying up… and finally, I collapsed into bed, half-dead. But luckily, today will be a little less stressful. After work, I’m heading to my craft store to pick up two tablecloths to embroider for my mom for Christmas, so she’ll have something to do during the winter days (her own words), since there’s no gardening to do at that time of year. And while I’m there, I’ll grab the yarn for my new knitted skirt. Yay!!
That’ll be my Christmas project for the holidays—you’ve got to treat yourself sometimes.
