What do you like to eat most during Advent / at Christmas?

Dear users, dear designers,
let me know what you really enjoy eating during Advent or at Christmas.

Lindt only sells its Christmas chocolate during the Advent season. I could really dig into that.

Anything without raisins.

The Christmas season would be so much nicer if the food industry didn’t put raisins in everything! ;)

All those wonderful Christmas treats: marzipan, gingerbread, cookies... And the worst of all: chocolate Santa Clauses! (Because you don’t even realize how much chocolate you’re eating!)

Definitely cookies.

We also have Christmas cookies every Sunday.

Marzipan! In all its variations and forms, from marzipan potatoes to marzipan bread.
But of course, absolutely no raisins!!! :-)))

I’d probably even try the Erzgebirge stollen that my friend always gets sent by her family, but ewwwww—raisins :-\/

And they always say “to cherry-pick” when someone chooses the best bits ;-))

I’m a big fan of spiced speculoos cookies—we always buy a few bags at the end of the season to stock up... and Baumkuchen. Most other things are available year-round these days. Though I do have a soft spot for marzipan, too...

Delicious fish soup that’s only made on December 24, as well as fried carp and “Olivje” salad :-)

Of course there are raisins—in all forms. But especially in our delicious Erzgebirge raisin or butter stollen. After all, I’m from the Erzgebirge.
But my favorite is homemade baked apple jam (with raisins, of course) ;) ;) ;)
