Alpacas also love the snow because they have thick, cozy fur, so they don’t get cold easily. Of course, Pamina the alpaca wants to join the sleigh ride too!
She’d even be willing to pull the sleigh. That’s why she’s dressed up especially nicely with her colorful fringed blanket and matching harness.

You can crochet an alpaca like this, too. It’s not hard at all, even when using plush yarn. But the pattern includes plenty of tips on how to work with this yarn.

A warm blanket for your legs is, of course, essential for a sleigh ride!
Even beginners can manage this knitting pattern for a blanket in a mesh pattern, and with fairly thick yarn and needles, it won’t become a year-long project.

You can find the pattern and more information here

Of course, without snow nothing works at all—the sleigh can't go. Luckily, the little snowflakes are already ready!

The 3 little winter children make a lovely winter decoration, even when Christmas is over but it’s still wintry and frosty outside. In their fluffy, soft, sparkly little dresses, they look absolutely charming. You can crochet them from leftover yarn, because you don’t need much material.
Here’s the pattern!

At the side of the road stands the snowman, knitting his scarf and gazing longingly after the sleigh riders. He would love to come along too! But as provisions for the journey, he offers them sweets from the candy jar.
The snowman on the candy jar is a wonderful little gift to bring when you’re invited to friends’ homes in winter. All you need is an empty jam jar, leftover yarn, and a little crochet knowledge. If you also fill the jar with homemade sweets, you’ll have a truly unique gift!
You can find the pattern for it here!

Since this is a virtual sleigh ride, the snowman can come along, too, of course. :-)

Winter Set "Andrea": Hat and Scarf or Infinity Scarf

Of course, you also need a warm hat and a matching scarf for a sleigh ride like this. With my model, you’ll be perfectly equipped. The hat is double-knit, and the scarf is thick, soft, and warm anyway. If you like, you can also turn the scarf into an infinity scarf. The beautiful color gradients come straight from the skein. The knitting pattern is also very well suited for knitting beginners. You’ll find all further information by clicking on the heading.

I hope you have lots of fun with this project - Yours, Ina

Children's Blanket - Snowman

This little snowman is happy to join in the fun in the snow. On the sleigh ride, you can cover yourselves up with him, and maybe you'll even meet a few of his friends along the way.

The cozy blanket measures approx. 60 x 80 cm. The pattern uses lots of pictures and easy-to-understand explanations to show how the motif is Tunisian crocheted and how it is then sewn into the finished blanket.

The sun is shining, but a cold wind is still blowing. That makes you grateful for a headband, and you can turn your face toward the sun......

The crochet pattern is described in detail, and pictures help with making it. The pattern is worked over one row, using chain stitches, single crochets, half double crochets, and double crochets.

The size of the headband is approx. 52-54 cm. With yarn that has a yardage of 110-135 m / 50 grams, it uses less than one ball.

Here you’ll find the pattern, detailed information about the yarns, and more pictures
