You can easily finish this headband with a clever cable twist over the weekend. It will keep your ears and head warm.

This headband is knitted with a pattern that acts like an air cushion.
Also suitable for beginners who have knitted before and have the usual basic skills. The pattern explains all the steps and is written in a print-friendly format.

These cute baby shoes can be crocheted quickly in between other things. You can do this even as a beginner—with the usual basic skills.

The advantage: you can put your leftover yarn to good use.

A lovely weekend project is this little pouch for a pack of Tempo tissues. You can crochet it quickly from leftover yarn. There are no limits to your imagination here when it comes to the color combination and the crochet pattern.

It’s also very well suited as gift packaging for small items. :)

In the pattern, you’ll get several variations presented—printer-friendly and well suited for beginners.

Now it’s that time again when you get cozy in the evening with a book. So you always know where you left off last time (or rather, fell asleep), you definitely need a pretty bookmark.
Here are a few suggestions:

 Frog Prince Bookmark

Dragon Bookmark

  2 Heart Bookmarks

You can crochet all the bookmarks with just a few bits of leftover yarn. I recommend using the thinnest cotton possible so the bookmark doesn’t make the book too bulky. They’re quite quick to make; you can surely finish several in one weekend and have a few pretty little hostess gifts or presents right away.
It’s best to get started right away!

Tania scarf-shawl
a great project for the weekend

-- to the pattern --

Tania - a great accessory in a different shape.

The pattern, like all my patterns, is richly illustrated and describes in detail how you can crochet this great accessory yourself - even as a beginner (with good basic knowledge). For more advanced crocheters, a crochet chart is also included.

The scarf-shawl can easily be adjusted in length and width. It looks especially great when crocheted with gradient yarn.

The scarf-shawl shown was crocheted from a 4-ply cake (150 g, or 570 m running length) and is approx. 220 cm long and approx. 25 cm high.

Decoration " Santa Claus / Father Christmas Hat " Christmas tree ornament crochet pattern

A lovely decoration/Christmas tree ornament is made in three steps: 1 - crochet 2 - fold 3 - sew on beads. The hats (approx. size 10 cm x 12 cm) are very well suited for Advent and the Christmas season and create a cozy atmosphere. They can also be beautifully used as door or window decorations for the festive season. Ideal for the Christmas table! Not much thread is needed to make one decoration, so these can be crocheted from thread leftovers. Ideal use for leftover thread! It crochets up very quickly, has an easy difficulty level, and should not be a problem at all for a beginner. The following basic crochet skills should be known: chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet. Amigurumi technique was used for the pompom. The detailed pattern consists of 9 pages and is described step by step in German with numerous photos and a chart.**For the hats, I used leftovers of the following yarns:
• Crochet thread leftovers "Pro Lana Häkelstar 100" (100g, 566m), color: red • Crochet thread leftovers "Lang Marisa" (50g, 210m) color: white • Acrylic beads (diameter approx. 3-4 mm) • Sewing needle • stuffing (for pompom) • Crochet hook no. 1.00 Alternatives: yarns "DMC" no. 10, or "Anchor" no. 10
one click - to the pattern I’ll be happy to answer any questions and wish you lots of fun and joy with this project!

The decorations/coasters " little snowflakes "
with a diameter of approx. 10 cm are very well suited for the Christmas season and create a cozy atmosphere. They can be nicely placed on the festive table as coasters for candle holders or used as door and window decorations. And of course as Christmas tree ornaments. Not much thread is needed to make one snowflake, so they can be crocheted from leftover thread. A lovely way to use up scraps!

Quattuor Men’s Scarf
Start thinking about Christmas now

-- to the pattern --

Of course, you can also crochet the scarf in “colorful” yarn, and then it makes a wonderfully cozy gift —not just for men.

As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and describes every step in detail , so that even as a beginner with basic skills , you can crochet this scarf. For advanced crocheters, there’s also a crochet chart .

By the way, the scarf’s length and width can be easily adjusted.

The scarf shown here is 220 cm long and 33 cm wide.
It was crocheted using about 350 g of solid-colored 4-ply cake yarn (LL 150 g/570 m)—but you can also use any other yarn suitable for scarves.

An ideal weekend crochet project is the versatile Möbius cowl Stephanie.

The frustration-free stitch cast-on makes crocheting fun right from the start, since you don’t have to crochet an endlessly long foundation chain or a foundation single crochet first. :-)

You can crochet this Möbius scarf with almost any yarn and choose the circumference and height yourself. The Möbius is also perfect for leftover yarn.

The pattern for crocheting the tube scarf is 11 pages long. It includes:
  • detailed written instructions
  • a photo tutorial for the loop cast-on
  • a detailed, professionally created crochet chart
What you need to know for this Möbius:
  • chain stitches
  • slip stitches
  • double crochet
  • treble crochet
  • double treble crochet
This pattern is suitable for:
  • beginners
  • advanced crocheters
  • pros

There are only a few days left until Halloween. If you haven’t decorated yet but would like to, I can warmly recommend this Halloween window picture – you’ll easily have enough time to make it this weekend.

The picture is made from photo cardstock and tracing paper and measures approx. 43 x 30 cm. With a little experience using a craft knife and tracing paper, it can be recreated quickly and easily.
