Björn, the little polar bear, is already eagerly awaiting the first snow. It can’t be cold enough for him! So he doesn’t mind at all if he gets to accompany you on your winter walk, dangling from your keys or your bag! But he also loves it when he gets to hang on a gift or the Christmas tree!
Björn is about 8 cm tall and can be crocheted from just a few scraps of cotton yarn. A cute little gift for all winter and polar bear fans!

The little seal likes the cold, too. She’s quick to crochet using white or gray leftover yarn. Even beginners can easily make her, since the pattern describes each round in detail.
You can download the pattern here!

The Knobblys are such cute bag charms—there’s hardly anyone who can resist them ♥

They’re also perfect as Christmas versions (reindeer, snowman, and Santa)!

The little balls are only about 7 to 8 cm in diameter and are pretty quick to crochet...

Even if you can’t or don’t want to crochet, knit, or sew, you don’t have to miss out on homemade keychains. You can also make a textile keychain.

This keychain is about 11 cm long and made from felt sheets - even very small scraps are enough. It’s very easy to make, and the pattern describes exactly how to do it.

Fridolin the Fish
likes to dangle from your keychain or your child’s preschool bag. Click here for the pattern

Fridolin measures about 8 cm when made with Catania yarn and a 3 mm crochet hook. He can be used as a keychain, a bag charm, or in a school of fish as a garland.

All you need to know to crochet your own fish is how to make a magic ring, single crochet, and slip stitch.

Everything else is explained right in the pattern.

Charly the Little Hedgehog
a small, cheerful companion for your bag

-- to the pattern --

Charly is not only a great bag charm, but also a lovely autumn decoration.

As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and describes step by step how you can crochet the little hedgehog yourself, even as a beginner .

The hedgehog shown is 7 cm tall and was crocheted using just under 20 g of cotton yarn (e.g. Gründl Cotton Fun, LL 115 m/50 g).

A beautiful heart pendant with wings is Wings of Love.
As a keychain or bag charm, this heart made from leftover yarn is finished in no time and makes an ideal gift or little present to bring along.

For the heart you need:

  • leftover yarn in white and red (e.g., Catania by Schachenmayr)
  • beads (make sure the eyelets are wide enough for the yarn to fit through)
  • a little stuffing
  • crochet hook size 3.0 mm
  • pins for attaching the wings to the heart
  • sewing needle for weaving in the ends and sewing on the wings
  • white sewing thread
  • scissors
Required skills:

  • single crochet stitches
  • chain stitches
  • double crochet stitches

Using the yarn mentioned above, the heart will be approx. 9 cm tall (without loop and bead charm) and approx. 16 cm wide.

The pattern for crocheting the keychain is 9 pages long. It includes

  • a detailed photo tutorial for every row
  • crochet charts

This crochet pattern is suitable for:
  • beginners
  • advanced crocheters
  • pros
