Timeless Baby Blanket Made from Merino Wool

This is absolutely a TV-friendly pattern, because the baby blanket has a wide border in seed stitch all the way around, and in between there are exactly 4 pattern rows alternating knit and purl stitches. You'll pick it up very quickly, and even beginner knitters can knit it well. And before you know it, you'll have a beautiful, very soft and cozily warm baby blanket made from breathable merino wool. All little babies love it, because merino wool keeps them wonderfully warm without making them sweat underneath. Parents will enjoy the blanket too, because it can be washed in the washing machine. You can find more information, photos, and the knitting pattern by clicking the heading.

I hope you have lots of fun with this project - Yours, Ina

This non-slip rug (75 cm in diameter) is also a great project for a TV night. We’ll be crocheting with 3 strands of yarn and a size 6 crochet hook so we can work quickly. The pattern is quite straightforward and almost takes care of itself as you go from round to round. You’ll find more information about the materials and the crochet pattern by clicking on the title.

I hope you enjoy this project—Ina

The locomotive looks complicated—but the individual pieces consist mainly of rectangles and circles, which are perfect for working on while watching TV. You’ll only need to pay closer attention when sewing the individual pieces together. The result is sure to be admired!
Here’s what you’ll need:
  • 2 skeins of cotton yarn (approx. 125 m/50 g per skein, e.g., Catania by Schachenmayr) in green
  • 1 ball each of cotton yarn in red and black
  • Scraps of cotton yarn in gray and white
  • Crochet hook size 2.5
  • Polyester stuffing
  • 1 thick sewing needle for sewing and joining the pieces
  • 1 pointed embroidery needle for embroidering the face
  • Black embroidery floss
  • Scissors
  • Optional: approx. 10 cm of Velcro tape
  • 1 foam block measuring approximately 15 cm x 8 cm x 4 cm for the wheel mount (cleaning sponge)
  • Thick fabric felt (approx. 2–3 mm) the size of an A4 sheet to reinforce the cab and the wheels.

If you enjoy Tunisian crochet or want to learn it, this origami bag is just the thing for you! You can crochet it in any size you like. It’s crocheted using the basic Tunisian stitch, with no increases or decreases, simply a rectangle. You don’t even have to worry about color changes, since the color gradient comes from the skein itself.

The basic Tunisian stitch is explained in detail in the pattern, so even beginners will have no trouble following along.

Finally, the rectangle is folded in origami style and sewn together at two points. The trim and handle are then crocheted conventionally in a contrasting color.

Beautiful and comfortable, this casual jacket / soul warmer is perfect. Whether with a short top or a long-sleeved shirt, with jeans or sweatpants, at home, at a garden party, or in a beer garden - this fashionable basic piece always works. Just slip it on and feel good.

The pattern is easy and works up quickly. Since the basic pattern only works into chain-stitch arches, you can easily make the soul warmer on the side while watching TV or chatting over coffee.

Here is the pattern

This modern triangular shawl is so fluffy and soft that you’ll want to snuggle right into it. It is crocheted from the side and is almost symmetrical.

The pattern is super easy to work. Since you insert your hook almost exclusively under chain-stitch arches, it’s wonderfully relaxing to crochet—perfect for watching TV or chatting over coffee!
Everything is explained very clearly in the pattern, with lots of step-by-step photos, text, and a crochet chart.

Thanks to the lace pattern, the shawl is wonderfully light and soft. It drapes beautifully and can be worn in many different ways.

This circular collar can be knitted up in no time, almost on the side. Perfect for long evenings in front of the TV. And just as suitable for beginner knitters who have basic skills.

The pattern is written simply, and in addition to the photos there is a printable file—by the way, without abbreviations.

What’s special here:
You can also use the circular collar as a baby or doll skirt. Maybe an idea for a gift?

A soul warmer like this is ideal for any season!
In this mustard yellow, it's simply unbeatable.

This creative zigzag pattern is simply fun and looks fantastic on top of that.
The edging is worked with a relief pattern, which is simple—yet very effective.

The cut of the soul warmer works entirely without decreases or increases...
... making it absolutely recommended for beginners too.

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
To make things clearer, the pattern includes 3 crochet charts.
In addition, 3 diagrams help you through the crochet process step by step.

This pattern is designed for sizes S/M/L/XL.
However, the pattern explains how the shrug can easily be adjusted to any size.
The included cut and the gauge help with that!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

A MUST for everyone from the Ruhr region ♥
But everyone else is also delighted by the beautiful asymmetrical shawl "Ruhrpott Sunrise" ...

A Bobbel with a yardage of about 1,000 m, a matching crochet hook - and you're ready to go!

The pattern is very easy to follow and absolutely TV-friendly ♥

A customer recently wrote to me again about how wonderfully TV-friendly this infinity scarf is to knit.
The pattern blocks add variety, but all sections are easy to follow and simple to knit. You’ll need DK-weight yarn (22 stitches per 10 cm) in two colors (120 g of Color A and 60 g of Color B).

These gift tags will help you stay organized even amid the holiday gift-giving rush and ensure you give the beautifully wrapped gifts to the people they’re meant for. The tags are very easy to make, and all the individual parts can be cut out and assembled effortlessly while watching TV.

The gift tags are 5.5 to 6 cm tall, made from cardstock, and some are decorated with glitter liner. You’ll receive a total of 17 templates (4 large ones for the background and 13 smaller ones for decorating).

Since this scarf is knitted using only knit and purl stitches, it’s definitely TV-friendly.

What makes this scarf special are the pointed ends at the beginning and end of the scarf.

Any yarn will work, since you can adjust the width yourself by working more or fewer increases. I used Rowan Super Fine Merino 4-ply with a yardage of 165 m / 50 g. Using a 4 mm circular needle, I used 300 g to achieve a finished length of 166 cm (short side) / 220 cm (long side) and a width of 26 cm.

My pattern is written in detail (including pictures and a knitting chart) so that it’s also suitable for beginners.

Here you’ll find the pattern for the scarf “Nachts in Toronto”.

This crocheted blanket is perfect for TV

It’s started in the center and crocheted in rounds like a granny square, using double crochet and chain stitches.

The pattern includes a crochet chart as well as a written explanation of the rounds.

The best part about this project: The further along the blanket is, the more it’ll keep you warm on cooler evenings while you’re crocheting.

Tania scarf shawl
easy-to-follow pattern for relaxed crocheting, not just in front of the TV

-- to the pattern --

The Tania scarf shawl combines the advantages of a scarf and a shawl in one accessory.

As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and describes in detail how you can crochet this wonderful accessory yourself—even as a beginner (with good basic skills).
For advanced crocheters, a crochet chart is also included.

The scarf shawl can easily be adjusted in length and width. It looks especially lovely when crocheted with gradient yarn.

The scarf shawl shown was crocheted from a 4-ply Bobbel (150 g or 570 m yardage) and is approx. 220 cm long and approx. 25 cm high.
