Weekend Plans: Happy weekend :-)

Our little junior has now been an outdoor cat for a week, and he's doing absolutely wonderfully, by the way. Today we're practicing with the cat flap.
My brother-in-law was in Las Vegas and raved so much about In & Out burgers that we'll be making some ourselves tonight. I'm curious to see how they turn out.

I had actually planned to go to infa kreativ on Saturday, but the weather is supposed to be so great that we'll use it for a bike ride instead. Then we'll go to the trade fair on Monday; that's probably better anyway, since it surely won't be so crowded.
In the evening we'll keep up the Greek ritual, and Sunday is family day as always :-)

I have the weekend off for a change, and since Junior wants to learn how to sew, we’re going to sew a few little things together. One thing we’ll definitely be sewing is a collar for my sister’s dog.

Other than that, at least where we are, the weather is supposed to be great. So a long walk in the woods is in order.

Petra: “In & Out Burger” sounds so interesting. I Googled it right away. Let me know how it goes.

Vierna: Did you get your reading pillow back? How old is your son?

We don’t have any plans at all this weekend. We’ll see what we end up doing. 

Today we want to have our last barbecue of the season, since the weather is supposed to be really nice again and I want to use up the rest of the frozen barbecue meat from the freezer. Our friends might join us, too. I’ll keep knitting every evening, and then I need to get started on translating the pattern for the next cardigan (from English to German) so I can start working on it after the holiday.

Arni: I’ve finally gotten my reading pillow back. Junior is 6 years old now, and he’s even been allowed to use the sewing machine a little. Always under supervision, of course. ????

The burgers were absolutely delicious; we googled the recipe too. Actually really simple.

@nadeleule : Thanks so much for the heads-up. It’s possible that an emoji slipped in there by accident.

I went to the fabric store this morning and treated myself to some new fabric because I’ve decided to finally sew something for myself. We’ll see when I get around to it. 

Today I was crocheting in the garden; the weather is still wonderfully summery, and it’s supposed to stay that way for now (in eastern Bavaria).

Tomorrow we’re going on an outing with friends and grabbing dinner in the evening. The weather’s perfect, too—what more could you ask for? :)

Today we’re heading to an artists’ market. By bike. We’re still enjoying summery temperatures here. Artists’ market, a quick stop at a beer garden, and then back home. I’m really looking forward to it

I was actually planning to visit my daughter at the hospital today. But now she’s allowed to come home today :-) So I’m using the free time to crochet a few finger puppets on the balcony for a bazaar. That’ll help me use up some leftover yarn.

I was feeling creative just now. I sewed a border for the playpen. Anton is always chewing on it. A lot of the paint has already come off, and that can’t be healthy.
