Not today, but last week one of the bigger discount stores had yarn on sale, and my better half thought he’d buy me two of those cake-shaped balls of yarn :)
...It’s obviously something completely different, but it’s still really sweet of him :) (I’m not going to accuse him of buying them just because they were cheap and he wanted to save money :))
My stash skyrocketed again over the weekend. I was at the Westerwald Wool Festival and, unfortunately, couldn’t really resist all the amazing yarn—but sometimes you just have to.
I was at a fall festival yesterday and the stores were open for business... A Lana Grossa store had 20% off everything! I...
didn’t buy anything!
Here’s why: I still have two gift cards from our local yarn shop, which carries the same yarn. I definitely have to stop by there before my vacation...
My yarn stash is huge again, so I’m going back on a “yarn diet” for now. I really need to reduce it, because all my closets and compartments are stuffed to the brim. :)
Yeah, I bought some today... 3 skeins from a Dutch store. Not that I needed any...
Last week, 12 skeins arrived from the online store because I wanted the original yarn for THAT shawl—the pattern for which I bought here.
And the month before that, 30 skeins of cheap yarn..... maaaaaan....
I’m such a yarn addict.... but it’s just so much fun :-)
It’s simple. I’ve bought so much yarn over the past few years but haven’t used that much of it. So I can easily keep working with it for quite some time yet.
