Cruzada Scarf
a lovely weekend project

-- to the pattern --

The scarf is a lovely project for crocheting on the side and looks great when crocheted with gradient yarn such as a Bobbel.
The pattern is richly illustrated and describes step by step how you can crochet this beautiful lace scarf for yourself. A crochet chart is also included. You should have solid basic crochet skills and be ready for something new.

The scarf shown was crocheted from 150 g of 4-ply Bobbel yarn and is 270 cm long and 25 cm wide - the scarf can easily be adjusted in length and width.

Maybe you feel like making a basket? You can always use them, anytime and anywhere. With my pattern, you can crochet them in any size you like. Take a look—how do you like this medium-sized one?

or would you rather make a much bigger one, so plenty fits inside?

Or maybe a very, very small one that you could use to give a surprise gift. It’s so cute, everyone will want one (... even without sweets).

I hope you have lots of fun crocheting this beautiful and practical basket in your favorite color and your own custom size.

Click here and you’ll go straight to the pattern!

Best wishes from Ina

You could of course also make it square. For example, it could look like this:

It holds looooots of things ...

And here you can find the crochet pattern for the large square basket.

I hope you enjoy this one too. Yours, Ina

If you often give chocolates as gifts and maybe even make them yourself, you definitely need matching packaging. This weekend you could make several right away, ideally in different colors, so you’ll have not only a reserve for the near future but also a pretty selection.

This chocolate box is made from photo cardstock, measures approx. 9.5 x 7.5 x 9.5 cm, is easy to craft, and is very well suited even for beginners. On two levels, each of which is removable, there is room for a total of eight chocolates of approx. 3–3.5 cm.

A great weekend project is this eye-catcher for your kitchen:
The lucky beetle potholders are very easy to crochet. You can make them even if you're a beginner and have the usual basic skills. They've become my favorite oven mitts.

A good idea for a Christmas gift, too.

Little teddy bears and dolls (20–25 cm tall) need something warm to wear now, too. How about this cute little crocheted jacket?

You can whip it up in no time using leftover yarn—even as a beginner with basic skills—and make your child or grandchild (or even yourself) very happy.

I originally designed this jacket for Schlenker Teddy Charly.

With this project, you can keep yourself busy over the coming weekends and into Advent: crochet your own personalized Christmas nativity scene! Of course, you’ll start with

Mary, Joseph, the baby Jesus in the manger, the ox and the donkey, and the Christmas star .

This is a great way to use up your leftover yarn, since you’ll need much less than one skein of each color for each figure.
The nativity figures will be about 10 cm tall—just the right size so they don’t take up too much space, but also not too small to add some lovely details.

If you enjoyed this and still have some time left, you’ll also find patterns in my shop for the shepherds, sheep, and the Christmas star, as well as for the Three Wise Men with their animals.

Here’s what your complete nativity scene could look like:

In three steps, you can quickly and easily make a lovely decoration/Christmas tree ornament for Christmas: 1 - crochet2 - fold3 - sew on beads. The decorations (size approx. 8 cm x 10 cm) are very well suited for Advent and the Christmas season and create a cozy atmosphere. They can also be nicely used as door or window decorations for the festive season. You do not need much yarn to make one decoration, so they can be crocheted from leftover yarn. Ideal use for leftover yarn! For the " Christmas trees " I used leftovers from the following yarns: • Crochet thread 10, "Maddison" (50g, 250m) color no. 08 light green • Crochet thread 10, "Maddison" (50g, 250m) color no. 01 white • Crochet thread 10, "Maddison" (50g, 250m) color no. 10 dark green • Acrylic beads (diameter approx. 3- 4 mm) • Crochet hook no. 1.00Alternatives: Yarns "DMC" no. 10, or "Anchor" no. 10 or also "Pro Lana Häkelstar 100" .

This trendy living room blanket combines the popular grid pattern with color-coordinated block stripes and has the ultimate cozy factor!

The blanket has a comfortable size of 150 x 140 cm and is enjoyable to knit.
The seed stitch border is very simple, and the grid pattern is explained row by row.
In addition, the pattern includes a photo tutorial for the cable twists and the flexible way to bind off.

You can find all information about the materials used and the skills required here

Yikes! St. Nicholas Day is just around the corner!

So take advantage of the nasty weather now and crochet a few St. Nicholas bags in just one weekend ♥
They’re quick to crochet, fun to make, and the kids will love them because they hold quite a bit :-)
