Where do you do your crafts in the fall and winter?

Dear users, dear authors,
the garden and balcony aren’t usually good places for crafts in the fall and winter. Where do you make yourselves comfortable with your crafts on cold days?
Let me know.

Right now, in this weather, I’m still sitting on the balcony.

When it gets rainy and cooler, I’ll crochet on the couch in the study
—or even in bed sometimes, if it’s already
late in the evening.

But we spend most of our time in the study, where everything happens for
us: painting, crafting, watching TV, working on the computer,
crocheting, lounging around, playing, and so on.

When it gets too cold in the garden, I of course do my crafts indoors.
I work either in the sunroom or in the dining room.

All year round, I prefer the couch! That’s where I can sit most comfortably. I don’t like doing crafts outside.

I’ve found myself a nice, bright spot under the skylight in our attic. There’s a large desk right under the big skylight. That way, I have plenty of space and can see everything clearly. I always listen to audiobooks while I’m crafting—it makes it more enjoyable for me.

Ina, that looks so cozy at your place. I’d like that, too.

I have several favorite spots. My favorites are, of course, the couch or the dining room table. There, I can really spread out when I need to.

I also like to visit my neighbor—we sit in her living room and knit together. That’s nice.

Every now and then, when I’m knitting or crocheting, I’ll sit in a rocking chair—either in the living room or upstairs in my study under the roof.

While I’m doing that, I listen to music or sometimes an audiobook.

With these wonderful temperatures—which are supposed to be over starting tomorrow—I’m still sitting on the lawn, in front of the house, or on the balcony, always with Latin vocabulary in my ears and a craft project in my hands. But when it gets cooler, I end up in the living room on the couch, usually with some recorded study material, or in the evening in front of the TV when I’m no longer in the mood to study.
