These cute, colorful bunnies are so easy and quick to crochet that you can make a whole family of bunnies in no time. You’ll use up your leftover yarn and always have a little gift on hand. At Easter, they can decorate your Easter tree or Easter basket. But they’re also popular year-round as keychains, good-luck charms, or mobiles.
The bunnies turn out best when you use cotton yarn with a yardage of 125 m/50 g. You can also use thicker or thinner yarn—they’ll just turn out a little bigger or smaller.

Noose, the Knot Loop + Noose, the Warm One
1 pattern, 2 Nooses
Why even more? Because it was so much fun, the Nooses look so different, and I just couldn’t stop. (Warning, it’s addictive :-) )
These two Nooses are based on “Noose, the Sun,” but they are larger and get noticeably wider toward the bottom so that they drape around the shoulders. (This is a standalone pattern; Noose, the Sun, is not required)
There are also lots of new elements to crochet in.
What do we need?
  • Yarn between 150 g and 200 g. I used leftover sock yarn here, but any other yarn works too, whether thick or thin; the leftovers should be similar in thickness.
  • Matching knitting needles and crochet hooks
  • Scissors
  • Sewing needle
Difficulty level:
Knitting very easy, only stockinette stitch
Crochet varies. Double crochet and chain stitches are required; everything else is optional :-)

Craft Bucket

As the third hidden gem from my customers, I’d like to introduce you to the craft bucket. It’s crocheted from leftover yarn and super practical. We basically crochet around a plastic bucket, and then everything always has its place. You’ll never have to search for your crochet hooks again. And the bucket is the perfect home for your current crochet project. It’s also a great gift idea for a friend who loves crafts—maybe with some new yarn and a pattern inside... You can find more information by clicking on the title.

I hope you have fun with this project too—Ina

The HERBSTFREUDE Beanie is very popular and also practical in many ways.

For one thing, you can crochet it in any size, because it is started from the ribbing and can therefore be easily adjusted to any head circumference.

You can also use any wool and yarn weight you like. This means you can crochet the beanie for winter, fall, or spring. You just need to use suitable yarn for each one.

And of course you can also play around with the colors. That makes very colorful versions possible, where you can also use up leftovers. But two-color hats or gradient yarns look beautiful too.

Aaaannnddd last but not least: You don’t need front/back post stitches, nor do you have to crochet slip stitches onto anything. Thanks to the many pictures in the pattern and detailed step-by-step explanations, the pattern is also easy for beginners with some crochet experience to follow.

You can find the pattern and all further info here: Crochet the HERBSTFREUDE Beanie
