Knitting in the Shaft.. ENGINE SHED
from my new series, a new shawl. A few slipped stitches, a bit of shadow effects, and yet also well suited for beginners. Make it as big as mine, or just keep knitting.

I wrote the pattern in detail and without abbreviations.

Or do you prefer crocheting?
Then the Aurora shawl might be just the thing for you.
It’s an easy-to-crochet, straightforward pattern that even beginners can manage well. I’ve written the pattern in detail, included plenty of photos, and even added a crochet chart. You really can’t go wrong.

Perfect for yarn cakes and gradient yarns, but also gorgeous in solid colors. In short: crochet it however you like.
To finish, crochet the arch pattern around the edge and that’s it... well, the shawl. Your shawl.

Lace Shawl for Beginners

This shawl will bring you lots of joy. It’s easy to knit even for beginners in lace knitting, since the pattern is straightforward. I explain and show everything in great detail. Because of the fine yarn, you can either wear the shawl twisted as a loop or, when unfolded, as an elegant shawl with a little black dress. The beautiful color gradients coming directly from the skein and the wavy pattern are what give this shawl its special charm. Feel free to read the 106 reviews from those who have already knitted this shawl. You’ll find more information by clicking on the title.

I hope you enjoy knitting and wearing your new shawl - Yours, Ina

Loop Featherlight

At first glance, the color of the loop scarf in the photo above may not look that exciting, BUT this beige is a color that simply goes with everything. You can wear it any time. It is cuddly soft because the cashmere yarn is extremely cozy and not scratchy at all. Take a look at the photo below—I tried to capture the lightness of the yarn there. The yarn practically caresses your throat and neck and pampers you while you wear it. Once you put it on, you won’t want to give it up.

Of course, if you wanted to, you could also make the loop scarf in other colors. It simply looks good in every color and is the perfect gift for your best friend. You can find more information and sample photos by clicking on the heading.

I hope you have lots of fun with this project—yours, Ina

Knitting Pattern for a Triangle Shawl

A beautiful shawl for gradient yarn or a yarn cake.

This is just a small shoulder shawl made from 100 g of Schachenmayr’s “Tahiti.” With a suitable yarn cake with a length of approx. 800 m, the shawl will be quite a bit larger.
Basic knowledge of knit stitches and purl stitches, decreasing stitches, and yarn overs is required. The pattern includes both a knitting chart and written instructions.

You’ll also find a beautiful crocheted shawl in my shop.

Almost any fine yarn is suitable for this shawl. You should have a basic understanding of double crochet, chain stitches, single crochet, and slip stitches. The pattern spans 2 rows and is explained in detail in the pattern, both as a crochet chart and in written form, row by row.

Knitting pattern for a wide shawl

You’ll find a beautiful lace pattern in this shawl.

Knitted from a soft yarn, you’ll love it in the evenings. Or perhaps as a baby shower gift for the mother. At night, she can wrap herself and her baby wonderfully in this fine shawl and they’ll stay warm.

I knitted my shawl from 200 g of yarn with 50% alpaca (e.g. Schachenmayr “Highland Alpaca Fino”, 50% alpaca, 50% virgin wool, with a yardage of 250 m / 50 g).

You should already know how to knit and purl stitches, knit stitches together, and make yarn overs.

For fans of lace patterns, I have a shawl here that incorporates two of them. You’ll need sock-weight yarn in two colors and 4mm knitting needles. The patterns are written out and also shown in knitting charts.

This cheerful shawl is fun to knit. Despite using two colors per row, it’s also suitable for beginners in multicolor knitting—there’s no need to carry any yarn strands. The shawl’s flat, slightly
asymmetrical shape emerges naturally from the chevron pattern.

This slightly asymmetrical triangular shawl is defined by the contrast between the light lace pattern and sections of garter stitch. It’s easy and enjoyable to knit—and just as easy to wear and style... Click here for the pattern

The dragon tail Goban is a beginner-friendly knitting pattern.

The scarf measures 16 cm on its narrow side, 70 cm on its wide side, and is 102 cm long.

You will need 100 g of 4-ply yarn cake (50% cotton / 50% acrylic) and size 3-3.5 knitting needles.

Without the points, you can knit a simple scarf from it.

The PDF file consists of 4 pages with photos.
