These ladybug pot holders (a pair) make a great weekend project. They’re quick to crochet, and all you need is basic knowledge and a little experience with crochet.

They’ll be a real eye-catcher in your kitchen or a great gift for friends. It’s best to start crocheting right away—then your lucky ladybugs will be ready in no time.

If you enjoy knitting, then this sweet sleepy little bear is just the right weekend project. There’s nothing nicer for a baby or toddler than a hand-knitted cuddly toy from Mom or Grandma.

It’s very easy to knit, so even as a beginner you can make it without any trouble. Basic skills are required.

You can quickly crochet these colorful owl potholders in Crazy Patterns colors over the weekend. The body is crocheted very simply with single crochet stitches, while the wings and belly are worked in a scale pattern, which is explained in detail in the pattern with close-up photos. The potholders are crocheted double, so you can slip your hand inside like a glove. They were crocheted with cotton yarn, specifically Catania by Schachenmayr.

You can download the pattern here! Have fun with this colorful crochet project!

Do you have some leftover yarn? Then this crocheted berry basket is the perfect project for this weekend! It’s sure to be a hit in a kids’ play store or play kitchen.

The berries look almost real—you’ll want to take a bite right away! It’s not hard to crochet; only the small berries (currants and blueberries) might be a bit fiddly. But strawberries, cherries, raspberries, and blackberries will fill the basket just as well.

Take a look in your yarn stash for the right colors download the pattern here and get started!

How are you, how's the weather? Have you noticed that the first leaves are already changing color? I was really surprised when I saw it. Well, it can't hurt to get ready for fall.
For that, I suggest an unusual scarf that is knitted entirely in knit stitches. Basically, you can knit it in any yarn, but if you use something thicker, you can get a lot done over the weekend.

Here is the pattern.

A crocheted shawl is always a lovely weekend project, especially when it has a simple, relaxing pattern and you can crochet it with any yarn you happen to have on hand.
A pattern written out row by row and a crochet chart are included.

You can find this pattern here.

Decorated with flowers, your home immediately looks much cozier. If they’re paper flowers, you don’t have to care for them either – you make them once (maybe this weekend?) and enjoy them for as long as you like them.

This easy-care bouquet of flowers is made from photo cardstock and is approx. 25 cm tall. It is also well suited for beginners and doesn’t require any special prior knowledge.

Thunderstorms are forecast for southern Germany this weekend, so a shawl like this can be crocheted quickly at home:

Crochet Pattern Triangle Shawl BAMBOO

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

.. it also works wonderfully as a traditional costume triangle shawl, as you can see in the image gallery.

Measurements here: approx. 65 cm x 140 cm (yarn requirement approx. 700 m 4-ply sock yarn or Bobbel) or custom measurements with your preferred yarn.. - simply finish the shawl whenever you like :-)

The PDF crochet pattern is written in text form (NO crochet chart) and includes the step-by-step photos.

Basic crochet skills are sufficient – illustrated crochet basics are included in the appendix of the PDF.
A free download of the basic crochet techniques is also available here in my collection "Free Patterns": https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/users/view_collection/1536/gratis-anleitungen?ref=Traudelina

Nassima Summer Scarf—a great weekend project!

-- to the pattern --

The Nassima scarf stands out with its sophisticated-looking lace pattern, but it’s easy to crochet and therefore perfect for beginners because you only need to know chain stitches, double crochets, and triple crochets.

The scarf in the photo was made from 2 balls of Gründel Lisa Print yarn - it is approx. 25 cm wide and 175 cm long.
The pattern can easily be adjusted in length and width.

Little Snake is a lightweight cowl for cool evenings.
The pattern looks more complicated than it is, and it’s explained in detail with a chart.
You’ll need 2 skeins of 50 g each, with a yardage of approximately 163 m per skein.

This tunic is so versatile: at the beach, in the city, ... always an eye-catcher!

The (glass) buttons add that special something - and there are no limits to your creativity.
And of course... the fringe is a must-have this summer.

The pattern is simple yet refined, and the cut requires no decreases or increases at all...
... so it is also absolutely recommended for beginners !

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
For clarity, the pattern also includes a crochet chart.
The button diagrams as well as the fringe-making process are also illustrated and described.

This pattern is designed for sizes S/M, L and XL.
However, the included cut/pattern layout and the gauge make it possible to make any size!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

The back can definitely be shown off a little cheekily in the warm season!

A beautiful combination of 3 patterns creates a wonderful crochet top!
Actually wearable in every season - in summer as an eye-catcher -
in the cooler seasons as a great addition under a vest or jacket.

A detailed row-by-row description guides you through the crochet process.
For clarification, there are also 4 crochet charts included in the pattern.

This pattern is designed for sizes S / M / L / XL.
However, the included cut and the gauges make it possible to adjust it individually as well.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

The Diamond Scarf has such a simple pattern that you can almost knit it with your eyes closed.
It looks great in both silk and gradient yarn; you should have at least 800 m running length for 200 g, but it can also easily be made larger.
The pattern is explained row by row and also includes a chart.
