Tips for Amigurumi Beginners

do you have any tips for beginners who would like to make amigurumi projects?

My tips would be:
  • Crochet as tightly as possible (perhaps using a smaller hook size) to prevent gaps from forming.
  • Stuff firmly (unless otherwise specified), because the stuffing shapes the body parts.
  • Always decrease only into the back loops—this prevents holes from forming.

Also, when sewing the individual pieces together, take your time, pin everything securely in place, and double-check the fit of each piece before sewing it on.
It would be a shame if, after all that crocheting, everything suddenly ended up crooked ;)
