June was great—I took plenty of time to knit and design new projects.

In July, I want to finish writing a few patterns and complete two projects I’ve already started. Maybe I’ll come up with even more ideas...

I’m not short on ideas, but I am short on time! I don’t like projects that drag on too long or that I have to put on hold. They quickly turn into UFOs.

The only word I can think of for June is “meager.”

I really hope the color campaign finally gets things going.

I didn’t get anything done at all in June—I just started all kinds of things and didn’t finish any of them. I did learn how to knit socks, though, but my socks aren’t finished yet either. I doubt they’ll be finished by the end of June. Other than that, I was pretty lazy this month. But now that summer vacation starts for us at the end of June, I’ll be able to spend two months—except for going to work—just knitting and crocheting.

June was great. I finished two wonderful birthday gifts, and they were very well received. On the side, I started more UFOs than I finished—so many ideas, and they all want to be started right away.....

July will be great too. I have two weeks of vacation, so I’ll have plenty of time for crocheting and even more time for my husband and kids. I want to crochet the colour project and finish my cape too. And then maybe actually finish a UFO instead of starting a few new ones again.....
Otherwise, just lazing around, lying in the shade, being paddled around in the inflatable boat, and searching for shells on the beach with the kids.

My color project is finished. In June, we treated ourselves to a week’s vacation (without any yarn or needles).
My internship is now coming to an end. I’m currently busy writing job applications, because I’ll be unemployed in July and can go get and fill out my Hartz 4 application right away.

I’m happy with my sales. I reached my goal of 30 €. Everything’s fine on the personal front, too. It’s just the job situation that doesn’t look good.

Best regards, Gabi

Bah, June can go away. Lots of worries about the elders. And I bought comfort yarn, even though goodness knows I have enough on the shelves. But how much I enjoyed the few hours I was able to do needlework...that’s something too.

For July, I’ve finished the little piece for the color campaign; the pattern for it “just” needs to be typed into the PC. I’m wildly determined to take part this time, I had an idea right away and the matching yarn was already there. So the best possible conditions.

We’ve been on vacation since Monday and have a few renovation jobs on the agenda. The kitchen is already shining in new splendor.

Dear Gabi, I wish you lots of luck and success with the job search; may something great come along

Greetings to you all
Caro

Dear Josefa, it’s mean to talk about June in the past tense, because it’s not over yet—and as we all know, the best is saved for last *laughs*
So far, it’s gone well; I didn’t set any big goals for myself and have managed to get everything done that I wanted to. I was also very happy with the weather, since the nasty storms mostly spared us and it was almost always nice.

July will be just as great—I have a feeling about it.

Well, crochet-wise, June was a disaster. I made one piece from leftover yarn (the travel music box). Then I tried my hand at filet crochet... A simple piece went really well, but I couldn’t finish it because I didn’t have enough yarn.
Then I tried to use up my stepchild yarn ...
it’s not working, I have total yarn chaos and I’m fed up with this yarn. I can’t untie the knots. The yarn is also different thicknesses and it’s just plain stupid.

I still have the same yarn in another color,  but I’m fed up with this yarn:
color number 514.

Would anyone like to have it for free? Then write to me. I don’t really want to throw it away... But I can’t stand looking at it anymore either.
Best regards
Sandra

June was—and still is—great. I’ve gotten over my cold, and right now I’m enjoying a few days off.

I’m knitting a large shawl, but thankfully I’ll be finished soon. I don’t really like the yarn—I bought it because it looked sooo beautiful—but I hadn’t had any ideas for a while, and now I’m making a shawl to go with my dress for a wedding; I don’t want to be cold in the church. The pattern is turning out great—that’s really motivating me.

In July, I’ve got a short vacation planned, lots of birthdays, and of course the color challenge. It’s not going to be boring..............

Are there any other thoughts, or is June already a thing of the past?

Well, aside from soccer, June was absolutely great!

I finished crocheting a gift on the very last day of June (I was done just a few minutes before midnight), so it had a happy ending too ;)

Otherwise, I’m very satisfied.
Let’s see what July has in store (besides my vacation, hehe) :)
