How's it going?

how are you? What are you up to? Is everything going well? How's the weather?

Lots to do at work. Only two more weeks until vacation.
But when vacation is right around the corner, it’s easier to power through the work.

The weather is gorgeous—sunny and warm—though I don’t get to enjoy much of it here in the office. The kids don’t have any homework left now and are enjoying their free afternoons outside, swimming and playing soccer.

And as for my crafts, I’m on a roll right now. The cushion for my little one is completely finished. I’ve already sewn three sides together; tonight I’ll finish the last one. It still needs to be washed, just to be safe—you never know....
As for my cape, the new supply of yarn has arrived, and I’ve already finished the test pieces for the color project. Now I just need to work with the right colors.
I’m also noticing now that I don’t have to study with the kids anymore. More time for crafts!

I’m currently working on an unfinished project from last year—a mermaid blanket. If I ever finish it, I’m sure it’ll look great (ranging from salmon to blue).

Since my job is really exhausting right now, I don’t know how to sit or lounge on the couch without getting a backache after 5 minutes, and in bed I fall asleep too quickly—and then the needles start poking me again, and my forehead...

Hello, everyone!
I’m currently on vacation to study for my psychology final exams. Today I had my Latin exam, which I passed. Thank goodness!
As for my knitting, I’m not making any progress at all. I started a pair of socks with a boomerang heel, but somehow I’m lacking motivation. Hopefully that’ll pick up again soon.

I know that sense of relief when you’ve finally made it. I did retraining myself three years ago. Wishing you continued success!

I also had a very nice day today. Since the weather wasn’t good enough for the Kehlsteinhaus, we drove to Salzburg. A bit of sightseeing, some delicious food. (For me, food is a way of life, and a vacation simply has to include good food.) And then we went shopping. My husband bought me a really lovely dress. As a thank-you for me organizing so much in the vacation apartment so that he can really relax. (Before Anton, we only ever stayed in hotels on vacation, but with a little one, a vacation apartment is simply better.)

Vacation really is wonderful.
