Wasti the dachshund accompanies your child to school. With this cute pencil case, going to school is twice as much fun. You can crochet Wasti in classic brown or in a rainbow of colors—whichever you prefer! But be warned! Your child’s friends will soon want their own Wasti, too!

Starting school always involves a lot of preparations, and they’re not always fun. With this window decoration, you can make the time a little sweeter for yourself and your child and help counteract the occasional stress.

The picture is made from photo cardstock and tracing paper. The approx. 48.5 x 48 cm motif has only a few small details and is therefore very easy to cut out.

The mega savings set of heat pillow covers

can be wonderfully “repurposed” for school.
The animals can store lots of useful school supplies in their bellies that don’t fit in a pencil case.
Each belly measures 14 x 14 cm, but the animals can be made larger or smaller by changing the yarn and hook size.
Filled with candy for the first day of school, they make a great gift!

The patterns included are:
  • Hippo and headband
  • Koala
  • Cat and bunny

All patterns are of course also available individually in my Shop  !

With these cheeky teddy bears, your child will have the coolest decoration for their school backpack.

With this very detailed step-by-step pattern, even beginners can crochet the boys, the girls, and the accessories (backpack, bag, bow)!

You’ll need leftover yarn in your desired colors and a matching crochet hook.
If desired, you can also add safety eyes, key rings, or decorations (felt, 3D fabric markers, etc.)

You’ll only be crocheting chain stitches and single crochet stitches.

Have fun!

School is an exciting new chapter for many children. It can be a bit scary at first.
A little friend to accompany the child at the start of school can really help!

The cute floppy calf turned out to be about 39 cm tall using the materials I used.
The pattern is described in great detail and includes pictures, and should help even beginners achieve a great result.
A printer-friendly short version is also included.

There are so many beautiful, useful, and of course delicious things you can give a first-grader! And of course, everything should be packaged to match, for example in this school satchel.

The satchel is made of cardstock and measures approx. 16.5 x 26 x 9 cm. With a little crafting experience, it is very easy to make.

If you’re still looking for an original gift wrapping idea for the first day of school—one that isn’t too difficult to make yourself—then I’d like to recommend this one.

This gift bag is made of cardstock, measures approximately 16.5 x 22.5 x 9 cm, and is perfect for both large and small first-day-of-school gifts. It’s quick and easy to make and can be customized in any color to suit your taste.

Perfect for space-themed school cones—and, of course, for everyone else too ♥

The Astro-Knobblys ! The little ball astronaut and the cheerful globe are sure to put a smile on your face and help you get through that stressful and slightly nerve-wracking first day of school :-)

With just a little cotton yarn and a size 2.5 crochet hook, they’re quick to make!
