We’re having an end-of-school party for my little one on Saturday. They’re putting on a musical, and I’ll be behind the bar—so to speak.
But only until 3:30; then the relief crew takes over.
Sunday is all about relaxing. My older son is going go-karting (he got it from my sister for his birthday), and in the afternoon, my sister and her boyfriend are coming over.
Tonight, we’re invited to a barbecue.
So I’ve got a fun weekend ahead of me without any major excitement. And I always have my yarn and needle with me—I still need to finish the back part of the decorative cushion.
Tomorrow, I’ll start with the weekly grocery shopping and, weather permitting, some gardening.
The patio roof needs to be replaced and the garden shed needs to be painted.... Neither is the most fun job, but they just have to be done...
And if there’s still a little time left in the day, I’ll keep knitting :)
Tonight we’re having a barbecue, followed by watching the World Cup match between Spain and Portugal.
Tomorrow it’s time to clean the house again; once everything’s done, I’ll go for a bike ride and then head to my favorite Greek restaurant in the evening.
Sunday is family day, as always!
And of course, I’ll be crocheting again on the side :-)
I was already up in the mountains today. It was lovely. I’m guessing there’ll be plenty of football on the schedule over the next few days—sport, so to speak :-)
My son asked for a family barbecue for his 20th birthday tomorrow. So today I bought everything we need and got everything ready. Tomorrow we’ll celebrate (my goodness, how time flies—it seems like just yesterday he was a baby!!!), and hopefully the weather will cooperate. Sunday will be all about cleaning up and studying. Of course, I’ll have my lace knitting project with me.
Well, I’ve barely had time for crafting these past few days, and tomorrow will be tight as well. My mother-in-law is causing us some concern right now, and there’s been a lot to sort out over the last few days. I hope I can find a little time tomorrow afternoon—I’m currently experimenting and tinkering. Just half an hour more trying out patterns, then my eyes will probably close on me. I’ll say good night now

No crocheting for us... we’re cleaning up the garden after the flood. Luckily, nothing happened inside the house. We’ve been helping the neighbors since Tuesday, and now I’m digging my way through the garden. It was finally finished ^^^… emphasis on “was.” We’re taking it with humor: now I’ve got a “truck” for the trip to the garden center, and the insurance will pay. I get to go shopping... yeah!
