This colorful cardigan for toddlers (size        ) is knitted as a raglan from the top down. It has only two small seams, on the inside of one side of the pockets. The rest of the pockets are knitted in.

The cardigan also has a hood, which is very practical on chilly days.

Suitable for advanced knitters. The pattern describes all the individual steps in detail, including the stitch pattern.

This women’s cardigan with knitted-in pockets is knitted using the bottom-up raglan method. Since the waffle stitch fits snugly against the body yet is still very stretchy, it fits approx. sizes 38–42.

Recommended for intermediate knitters. The pattern describes all steps in great detail.

Crochet Pattern Children's Short-Sleeved Raglan Granny Sweater (ages 3-12)

The sweater for slightly cooler summer days—or evenings. This children's sweater doesn't need an elaborate pattern. With a beautiful color combination, whether using 2 or more colors, the sweater will be a real eye-catcher.

I have explained my pattern in great detail and step by step.
Even beginners can crochet this sweater with my pattern.
With the many pictures, you can always compare your result directly.

My pattern includes information for sizes 96/104 to 146/152,
so for children ages 3 to 12.

This beautiful children's sweater is crocheted from top to bottom and almost in one piece. Only the sleeves are crocheted separately later. With this technique, you can always try it on right away to see whether everything fits. Thanks to its granny pattern, it is still quite airy despite the slightly thicker yarn. And cotton is said to cool the skin rather than warm it in summer.

If you would rather use thinner yarn and other colors, you can of course do that. Thanks to the gauge, it should be easy to adjust the stitch cast-on.

Otherwise, I will be very happy to help you further.

Material
  • Pro Lana Joker (turquoise, gray, and white) 50 g/ 87m yardage, approx. 300-400 g total
  • Crochet hook 4.0 mm (or as desired)
  • Sewing needle/darning needle
  • Scissors
What is crocheted
  • chain stitch
  • slip stitch
  • single crochet
  • double crochet
  • crochet in rounds
If you have any questions, I will be very happy to help you further.

Here’s the pattern!

This vest isn’t just feather-light thanks to the yarn it’s made from—it’s just as easy to make!

With this pattern, you’re not limited to a specific size or to a particular wool or yarn; you can crochet it in any size you want using your favorite yarn!

Thanks to the RVO (Raglan from the Top) style, you can crochet the vest to any length you like—why not create a delicate, short bolero-style vest or a chic long vest...
