Our little girls are perfectly “shod” with these ballerinas...
The button sets the trend!

Also a perfect project for using up leftover yarn. Finished in 1–2 hours!

The pattern is designed for a foot length of about 9–10 cm.
However, the included gauge makes it easy to make any size!

You’ll also find a table for baby and children’s shoe sizes (incl. cm measurements) in the pattern.

And here’s the pattern with more details...

Elegant Baby / Children's Headband
The elegant baby / children's headband with a beautiful flower pattern can be crocheted quickly, has an easy difficulty level, and should be no problem for a beginner. The following basic crochet skills should be known: slip stitch, chain stitch, yarn over. Optional: The baby / children's headband can be decorated with pretty little flowers. You can find the description in my existing patterns. The detailed pattern, incl. the size chart for ages 0-14, consists of 31 pages and is described step by step in German with numerous photos. (Instruction in German with many photos). You will need: • yarn in one or more colors (possibly cotton, fine baby yarn, mohair) • crochet hook no. 1.75 - 2.0 • optional: acrylic beads or rocailles • sewing needle • matching sewing thread. I wish you lots of fun and joy with this project!

Here is the pattern, please click here

Great for spring festivals / Oktoberfest - but not only that..

Knitting pattern Baby traditional vest size 86/92 with intarsia cable

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

For this special sleeveless baby vest without buttons, we need:

150 g gray merino wool 50 g red merino wool, here Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine 120, 50 g – 120 m yardage, gauge according to the ball band: 22 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm, knitting needles 3.0 – 4.0; here: knitting needles 4.0, cable needle, crochet hook 3.5 for the bow, stitch holder or similar for holding stitches, yarn needle for weaving in ends, stitch marker is helpful.

The PDF pattern is illustrated.

The red cable on the back is made using the intarsia technique (illustrated explanation is included) and requires some time and skill - so I would not recommend it for beginner knitters.

The cable also looks lovely in solid gray, and the whole piece is then knitted up fairly quickly. For that reason, I recommend that beginner knitters knit this vest completely without the cable and/or in one color.

In Alpine regions, this is a "must-have," but it’s also popular elsewhere:

Baby traditional-style knitted jacket size 50/56 incl. gauge conversion table

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

..THE traditional classic in miniature format..

For this easy-to-knit baby traditional-style jacket, you will need approx. 100 g of 4-ply sock yarn, e.g. Zimba Top by Schoeller Stahl in classic traditional gray, 50 g (or leftover yarn) of Regia 4-ply for the edging, knitted in traditional green, size 3.0 mm knitting needles, and, if needed, a 3–3.5 mm crochet hook for the decorative foundation chain on the front band.

The PDF pattern contains 15 images.

You will also receive, as a bonus, the simple version of my Excel spreadsheet for quickly converting your gauge to your desired size (usable for all knitted/crocheted pieces, calculation software required, e.g. Excel or LibreOffice; the latter is available free online).

Basic knitting skills are required (i.e., these are not illustrated).
Required knitting skills: long-tail cast-on, knit stitches, bind off, increase stitches (from the horizontal strand), yarn over (for the buttonholes), knit 2 stitches together.

By the way: This jacket can also be knitted without sleeves (then crochet around the armholes in green once with single crochet) as a vest.

This headband with a heart is ideal for cooler days in summer. It protects little ears and looks especially pretty on little girls.

The headband can be knitted very easily and quickly from leftover yarn and adjusted to any desired size. Very suitable for beginners, who will learn the waffle pattern here.
Basic knowledge should be present.

Click here for the knitting pattern for the waffle-pattern headband for babies and toddlers.
