The Soccer World Cup is in the summer, how about a matching door wreath? Of course in your national colors, or simply in the colors of your favorite club.
Theodor cheers for the team of your choice and is a fun eye-catcher.

Crochet pattern Theodor the Soccer Star

You'll need these skills:
  • magic ring
  • chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet stitches
  • half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet
  • increasing and decreasing stitches
⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽

This door wreath tells of sun, sand, and sea and brings vacation feelings to life. The wreath is also a wonderful decoration on the wall or on the table, even without a net or embellishments.

Maritime door wreath "Moin" / Tunisian crochet

The lifebuoy is crocheted in Tunisian simple stitch; this is explained in a practice section in the pattern, or you can visit my blog here on Crazypatterns.

As always, the pattern is written in a beginner-friendly way without abbreviations and also includes instructions for making the decorative knots as well as the
crochet pattern for the net.

This décor works all year round. After all, spring fever is always welcome.

You can crochet this colorful set of a large placemat and small coasters with a floral border, scatter decorations, and various egg cozies in any color you like to match your home décor. Leftover cotton yarn is also perfect for it.

Very suitable for beginners, especially since the pattern is written without abbreviations and is even printer-friendly, although it includes photos.

Here is the crochet pattern for the colorful spring flower meadow.

It’s finally really warm out! To match the spring weather, I have this window picture for you: Even if the real flowers still need a little time to bloom—they can already be in full bloom on your window.

The picture, measuring approximately 48.5 x 53 cm, is made of photo cardstock and tracing paper. The design has many small elements, so it requires a bit of patience and skill with a craft knife; otherwise, it’s well-suited even for beginners to recreate.

Tooorsten, the soccer mascot, sits next to you on the couch during all the German team’s games, waves his little flag, and cheers along with you! Crochet this funny little guy yourself and make a soccer fan happy. With 20 g each of white and black cotton yarn and a few bits of leftover yarn, Tooorsten is fairly easy to crochet. You’ll only need a bit of perseverance and patience when sewing him together.
Here’s the pattern!

These spring flower egg cozies bring color and a spring mood to your breakfast table. They are quick and easy to crochet from just a few leftover yarn scraps, yet incredibly decorative. For each egg cozy you need 20–30 g of the main color and a small amount of green. I used Catania by Schachenmayr here (yardage 125 m/50 g)?
Here’s the pattern!

Do you like seasonal tables? You can redecorate them every few weeks to match the season. Small flower children that you can crochet yourself look very pretty on them. They are about 12 cm tall. Since chenille wire is built in on the inside, you can bend their arms and legs any way you like and decorate with them differently again and again.
Here are a few suggestions from my shop:
 DAISY

 PUSSY WILLOW
SNOWDROPS and BELLFLOWER

In wonderfully fresh spring colors for the kitchen:
Potholders 'So green, so green' - Tunisian crochet

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

A touch of fresh spring green as kitchen decor or for real use as potholders made from 100% cotton.

Both the PDF pattern for the potholder and the pattern for the crochet flower(s) are illustrated step by step.

Material
:
For 1 standard-size potholder, 21 cm x 21 cm:
50 g light green 50 g dark green crochet yarn made from 100% cotton/plant fiber for heat resistance, e.g. Schoeller Stahl Record 210, 50 g- 90 m, according to the label 16 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm), so 50 g per color for the Tunisian crochet hook up to max. size 4.5.

For the flower(s), a leftover bit of cotton yarn is enough, e.g. Catania (Schachenmayr) or Limone (Schoeller Stahl), for crochet hook size 2.5 - 3.5.

Please note: heat-resistant cotton yarn (= potholder yarn) is only loosely twisted and therefore difficult to crochet with, especially for beginners, because the yarn splits a lot. So if heat resistance is not that important to you, e.g. if you do not place a hot pot on the potholder, you can also crochet with a cotton-blend yarn, e.g. Pantino by Schoeller Stahl.

In addition, we need a measuring tape, scissors, and a yarn needle for weaving in ends

General crochet skills are enough; the Tunisian crochet technique is explained with pictures.

This fish can be hung up by the "fish mouth":

Crochet Pattern Potholder KITCHEN FISH

(Please click the image to purchase/download)

This potholder kitchen-decor fish is crocheted from potholder yarn for a size 4.5 crochet hook, e.g. Record 210 by Schoeller Stahl, 50 g – 90 m. A better twisted alternative yarn, and therefore more suitable for beginners, is MyBoshi No. 2.

used here:
100 g Limone mint green (crocheted with double strand) or 100 g Record 210 in green, 50 g natural white, 50 g light gray; there will be some left over from each color, so another regular potholder could be crocheted from the leftovers. Also required: scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.

Included in the download :

  • PDF crochet pattern in text form (for printing) with many step-by-step photos in the back section of the pattern
  • PDF Crochet Basics – basic crochet techniques

"Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future. Concentrate on the present moment." - QUOTE Buddha
And in this spirit - enjoy time with your loved ones around a beautifully decorated table!

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
For clarification, the pattern includes 3 charts of the motifs, 1 crochet chart, as well as
a illustrated step-by-step explanation for changing colors.

The finished table runner measures approximately 158 x 45 cm. However, the specified gauge and the crochet area between the motifs allow flexibility for individual lengths.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

Many flowers are already blooming, but the ones that really love warmth are still keeping us waiting. That includes lilies, which won’t delight us with their beauty until May. To make the wait go by a little faster, why not craft these paper lilies!

The lilies are made from photo cardstock and crepe paper and are about 35 cm tall. They are easy to make, and thanks to the detailed craft pattern, they’re also well suited for skillful beginners.
