After this cold and damp winter, we’re all looking forward to spring and its vibrant colors.

With this crochet pattern for a granny square ball, you can really have fun with colors.

You’ll crochet individual granny squares and sew them together at the end to form a ball or balloon cover. A balloon goes inside as the filling; we’ll leave an opening so it can be changed, which means the ball can be used indoors or in the garden, since the cover is easy to wash.

The pattern guides you step by step to success.

Head over to the pattern now… there’s still time before Easter.

 Crochet your first spring blooms!
Snowdrops and bluebells herald the arrival of spring! These two charming flower children make a beautiful decoration for the breakfast table, the windowsill, the porch, or the seasonal table in the spring. The flower children are about 13 cm tall and have movable arms and legs. They wear their blossoms as hats and hold their flowers in their hands. They’re quick and easy to crochet using just a few pieces of leftover yarn. Make several of them at once, and you’ll have a whole spring meadow at home!

By the way: there are even more flower children in my shop!

If you prefer to make your own gift wrapping, I highly recommend this bag—it can actually be used any time of year, but its colors make it especially perfect for spring.

The gift bag is made of photo cardstock, measures approximately 19 x 22 x 8 cm, is easy to make, and comes together quickly.
