Basically, any thin yarn of your choice with a suitable needle size one needle size larger than recommended on the label can be used.
Here: 50 g light turquoise 50 g darker turquoise Ferner Wolle Merino Lace hand-dyed, 100% merino, 50 g – 250 m for needle size 2.0 to 3.0; used here: circular knitting needles 3.0 with different cable lengths (60 cm for the beginning, then switch to 80 cm cable length), circular knitting needle 4.0 at least 80 cm cable length; yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors; crochet hook size 2.5.
