This is a “giant fish baby” — it wants to be used as a POT HOLDER:

Crochet Pattern Pot Holder KITCHEN FISH

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

..crocheted from pot holder yarn for crochet hook size 4.5,
e.g., Record 210 by Schoeller Stahl, 50 g – 90 m

used here:
100 g Limone mint green (crocheted with double strand) or 100 g Record 210 in green,
50 g natural white, 50 g light gray; there will be a little left over of each color, so a regular pot holder could still be crocheted from the leftovers. Also required: scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.

Included in the download :

  • PDF crochet pattern in text form (for printing) with many work-in-progress photos in the back section of the pattern
  • PDF Crochet Basics – basic crochet techniques

Two little, playful kittens: Both were crocheted from the same pattern, but with different yarns—on the left, acrylic yarn (Bravo by Schachenmayr) was used; on the right, fluffy yarn (Phil Douce by Phildar). The kittens are crocheted using only single crochet stitches. If you'd like to try working with fluffy yarn, you'll find valuable tips for working with this yarn in the pattern.
Here’s the pattern—get it now!

This cute baby bear is baby’s first cuddly bear. Since bears are known to be big animals, this one is a proud 40 cm “small.”

The little bear is very easy to knit and is well suited for beginners. However, basic knitting skills should be available.

What makes it special:
The pattern contains no abbreviations. And the photos are placed on separate pages so they do not need to be printed out.

Here the little owl hangs on the door and keeps a good watch. She only lets visitors in when she shows “Free.”

The little owl can also easily be crocheted by beginners using the pattern. All steps are explained clearly and with pictures. Since only a little yarn is needed, leftover yarn can be used up nicely here.

Here is the crochet pattern for the little owl as a door guard.

There is also a little teddy bear as a door guard in my shop — here.

Bully, the baby elephant, loves the water and enjoys playing with his little sailboat the most. But he can’t swim properly yet like the other elephants, so he wears his swim ring around his belly.
Would you like a cute little elephant like this, too? If you want him to be just as cuddly and soft as in the picture, you should use the recommended fluffy yarn (Phil douce). It’s not as hard as you might think. The pattern includes lots of tips on how to do it. But of course, you can also use a different (similarly thick) yarn.
By the way—Bully also feels at home in an Easter basket!

Crochet Pattern Chick Charly

Charly the chick has just hatched and is looking for his mama.

Charly works up very quickly. He is only 10 cm tall and 7 cm wide if, like me, you use Catania yarn from Schachenmayr and a 2.5 mm crochet hook.
In a 6-page PDF file, I have explained everything step by step in detail and with lots of pictures. So making him is no problem.

Material
  • Catania yarn in the colors (yellow), red, and light blue)
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • safety eyes approx. 10 mm
  • stuffing
  • sewing needle
  • stitch marker
  • scissors
What you should already know
  • chain stitches
  • slip stitches
  • single crochet
  • increases
  • decreases
  • crocheting in rounds and rows
  • simple sewing on

Crochet Pattern Baby Elephant

Isn't he cute, this little baby elephant? His tusks aren't visible yet. The nicest place for him is his favorite palm tree. But he actually feels quite at home anywhere.

If you’d also like to crochet an elephant like this, I have an 11-page pattern here in PDF format with lots of pictures and everything explained step by step. I used a 3.0 mm crochet hook, and I crochet relatively tightly.

Material
  • Cotton Quick by Gründl (gray)
  • 3.0 mm crochet hook
  • Sewing needle
  • Stuffing
  • Glue-on eyes (can also be sewn on)

Penguin

This cute penguin is crocheted with a size 2.5 hook and measures 9 cm without the Christmas hat and 12 cm with the hat, making it perfect as
a keychain or bag charm. It also looks great
as a good-luck charm on your car’s rearview mirror. It’s beginner-friendly and described in detail over 9 pages. You can adjust the size even further by choosing a smaller crochet hook. With a size 2 hook, it will be only about 9 cm tall with the hat on. Materials list: For the penguin with clothes, sack, and fish:
  • black cotton
  • some white, red, brown, light blue, and orange cotton
  • black half-pearls or other eyes; if necessary, they can also be stitched
  • stuffing
  • crochet hook size 2.5
  • yarn needle
  • scissors
  • keychain
  • stitch marker
