When Barbie wants to look especially chic during the Easter holidays, she wears her black and silver glitter dress. The dress is off the shoulder, so she can slip into it easily, and it has a fluffy hem made of fringe yarn. Barbie also wears a matching hat and a silver evening clutch.

You can crochet all of this from just a few pieces of leftover yarn. For this model, I used Glitter from Gründl and, for the fringe hem, a leftover bit of Brazilia from Schchenmayr.

The pattern is simple, so even beginners who have already done a little crochet can make this model.

When it gets warmer, people in Bavaria like to show up in a dirndl again. Of course Barbie wants to join in on the look too!

The crocheted dirndl is in black, red, and green. Underneath, Barbie wears a white traditional blouse (which is crocheted on, however, so the dirndl is easier to put on and doesn’t add bulk as easily). To match the dirndl, she has a red traditional hat and a black-white-red shoulder bag, as well as a black choker. And of course, the big gingerbread heart is a must-have too.

To crochet this model, I recommend the thinner Catania fine by Schachenmayr, with a yardage of 165 m/50 g. Scraps are enough!

Here’s the pattern!

How about a paper doll? This very affordable classic toy has delighted many generations of children and also lets their parents and grandparents feel a little like a child again while playing.

The especially great thing about this game – it can be expanded endlessly: To make new clothes, all you need is paper, pencils, scissors, and a little imagination and drawing talent.

The Mila doll is approx. 25.6 cm tall and just needs to be printed out, glued onto sturdier paper, and cut out. For the starter set, you can also download the summer and fall collection right away.
