Funny little Easter bunnies as egg cozies, decorative figures, or flower picks Click here to go directly to the pattern

These super-sweet little bunnies will make your Easter decorations perfect, whether as egg cozies, flower picks, or decorative figures. ....or maybe as a sweet little surprise for Easter breakfast...? The size varies depending on the yarn used, from approx. 10 cm to 18 cm. The funny little bunnies are very quick to crochet; the pattern is written in great detail, with lots of pictures on 12 pages. The bunnies are crocheted in one piece, so there is no annoying sewing on of body parts To crochet the bunnies, you will need:
  • A crochet hook 2-3, depending on the yarn used
  • Yarn: you can use any yarn you like, but ideally it should be a cotton yarn. I used Lieblingsfarben No. 2 by myboshi for the yellow egg cozy. I crocheted the smaller bunnies with Schoeller + Stahl S + S Limone 50g = 125m crocheted 50g=115m; this high-quality all-round cotton yarn is available in a wide range of colors at Wollerino. You can also use any yarn from your stash that matches in color, but you need to keep in mind that this will change the size of the finished figure. My figures made from myboshi Lieblingsfarben No. 2 are approx. 18 cm tall. The decorative bunnies/flower picks made from S+S Limone are approx. 14 cm tall. You need 1x50g in your main color for one bunny
  • Black sewing thread for the embroidery on the face (I used the sewing thread 4 strands together). If you use a different yarn, you may need to adjust the quantities for the yarn.
  • A darning needle for weaving in ends
  • Scissors
  • A row marker or a thread in a contrasting color to mark the beginning of each round
  • Sewing thread in a matching color to sew on the eyes and the little tail.
  • Stuffing
  • small black beads for the eyes
  • craft pliers
  • possibly small flowers, beads, sequins ...to decorate your figure
  • satin ribbons
  • wooden skewers for the flower picks (I used discarded knitting needles)
To crochet the bunnies, you need to know the following:
  • Single crochet (sc)
  • Decreases, increases
  • Slip stitch
  • Magic ring
  • Crab stitches

Cowl collars are a great alternative to loops and scarves for keeping warm in winter...
... you can never have enough of them.

Here, 2 techniques come together—and they harmonize beautifully:
Tartan + Tapestry

Who says the tartan technique only shines in knitwear? Not at all!
Crocheted pieces can be wonderfully spruced up too!

The method looks sophisticated, yet is so easy to work that even beginners will enjoy it!

A detailed step-by-step explanation guides you through the crochet pattern.
For clarification, the pattern includes 1 chart in crochet chart form .
In addition, a template with an integrated schematic helps you through the crochet process.

The tartan technique is also described in detail and illustrated with photos (16 pictures).
The tapestry technique is explained separately as well.

When laid flat, the scarf has a size of about 34 x 105 cm.
However, it can easily be made smaller or larger as needed.
The included template and the gauge help with that!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

For people who absolutely can't wait to finish, I recommend using thicker yarn. You'll be at least twice as fast!
An item that is knitted with very thick yarn is this infinity scarf. It has a simple pattern made up only of knit and purl stitches, and you can knit it almost in your sleep. Definitely suitable for beginners too! Before you know it, you'll have that sense of achievement!

A quick knitting project that’s also very useful is a bath mitt. It features a simple pattern that’s livened up a bit by the border at the top.

You can find the pattern here.

My original is made from a cotton-linen blend with a yardage of 95 meters per 50 grams. A small scrap in a contrasting color is enough for the border.

Little gift bags always come in handy, since there are so many occasions when you want to give someone a gift. Of course, for a true handmade enthusiast, making the packaging yourself is part of the deal.
These little bags are knitted from leftover sock yarn. That makes them ideal for using up leftovers, too. They are colorful, easy to knit, and fun to make.

You can find the pattern here.

Beautifully quick to crochet:

Crochet pattern Möbius Cowl 1-2-3-4

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This cowl wonderfully jazzes up sweaters and shirts.

It is crocheted from approx. 60 g of a merino yarn with 50 g – 160 m yardage and hook size 3 – 4 (here with a 3.5 mm crochet hook) and can be finished quickly in one afternoon. Beginners should allow themselves a little more crochet time.  Other yarns with a suitable hook size can also be used. In my opinion, however, the pattern shows up better in finer yarns.

The Möbius technique in crochet is considerably easier than in knitting.

For the illustrated PDF pattern basic crochet skills are sufficient (chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch). Link tips for learning to crochet are included.

Minimal effort, maximum sewing success: With Mathilda, the bow basket, you’re guaranteed to succeed! Mathilda is cut out once each from outer fabric and lining fabric. All you need to add is one layer of interfacing (or a cleaning cloth) and 4 fabric strips for the bows. And if you have a bias tape maker (tutorial included), Mathilda can be cut out and sewn in about 1 hour :).

The ebook includes a total of 4 sewing patterns, the illustrated sewing instructions and the lookbook with lots of design examples!

Have fun, and may the seam be with you!
