Comprehension problem with a pattern for crocheting a frog

I haven’t been crocheting for very long and have now run into a problem. I hope someone can explain to me what it means. 3) increase in 1st st. 6 sc, increase in next 4 sts, 6 sc, increase in last st = 244) 1 sc, increase in next st, 6 sc, *** 1 sc, 0 sc = 305) 1 sc, increase in next st, 7 sc, *** 2 sc, increase *** = 4x, 8 sc, increase in last st = 366) 2 sc, increase in next st, 7 sc, *** 3 sc, increase *** =4x, 9 sc, increase in last st = 42  
I don’t understand the underlined part—what do the *** mean? Best, PS: I hope I was able to explain my issue clearly.

if you go to the frog pattern and scroll down, the author’s name and their patterns with photos will “appear” there.
Under the author’s name, you’ll see “Send a message” and “Go to the shop”… click on “Send a message” there.
