Wonderfully simple:
Crochet pattern for a poncho with Möbius shawl collar (loop)

(For purchase/download, please click the image)

These two pieces were crocheted in just 1 weekend...

With this crochet technique, you can decide while crocheting how large the poncho should be – you simply stop crocheting whenever you like.

The poncho and Möbius scarf are made with thick gradient yarn, 100 g – 100 m, and a 8.0 mm crochet hook. Yarn required for both pieces: approx. 700 g.

The PDF pattern includes the poncho and Möbius scarf and is illustrated, but it is not a crochet course in itself.

These crochet skills are needed:
chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows, crocheting in rounds.

Knitting pattern
Cardigan/Long Cardigan MARGIT Size 38 to 46 OneSize - Oversize

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This comfortable, cozy knitted piece in an oversized style weighs only approx. 275 g with the yarns used here, so it is feather-light. Both patterns used are absolutely easy. The collar shaping requires a little care. The length is variable.

The model shown is knitted with double strand and needle size 6.0 from 175 g KidSilk by Austermann plus 100 g Merino Lace by Austermann. Alternatively, yarns can be chosen with a needle size suitable for the yarn that correspond approximately to a gauge of 17 sts = approx. 10 cm with knitting needle size 6.0
for example approx. 450 g Dolce Mohair (Mondial) - knitted with a single strand. Additional yarn alternatives - including ones without mohair - are listed in the pattern. Stitch markers are highly recommended.

The illustrated PDF pattern with stitch-by-stitch and row-by-row instructions refers to the gauge mentioned above.

Poncho "Cappuccino" - versatile, soft, and simply lovely to snuggle into.

Thanks to two cleverly placed buttons, this poncho is a true quick-change artist. Since the buttons fit through the lace pattern, there is no need to work in buttonholes - so the buttons can be fastened anywhere you like - creating a wide variety of ways to wear it!

Here’s the pattern

Two Woolly Hugs BOBBEL-COTTON cakes (50% cotton, 50% polyacrylic, yardage = 800 m/200 g) in color no. 02 were used for the poncho.

Detailed description as a PDF file with text, crochet chart, and step-by-step photos.

This poncho named “ Midnight Dream “ is perfect for braving the first fall weather.
There are different ways to wear it, and in strong winds the collar can simply be pulled tight.

As a little bonus, there is a pattern for the matching hat. Whether for children or adults, the poncho as well as the hat can be made in all sizes.

No annoying sewing together; it is worked in one piece.

With the specified yarn and hook size, the poncho shown here has a wingspan of 1.60 m and a depth (measured without the collar, from the neckline to the point) of 0.70 m. It can of course be made smaller or larger.

You can make it using written instructions and a crochet chart.

Capes and ponchos are our favorite companions for fall and winter: just throw one on and you’re instantly cozy and warm—and you look
really great in it. They flatter your figure and hide those little extra curves. Nothing pinches or digs. My poncho is cozy and warm because the yarn (700 g Olympia) is 54% virgin wool. It has a warm turtleneck. The size is individually adjustable. It’s knitted as a raglan from the top down. Thanks to the thick yarn (100 g/100 meters) and 8 mm needles, we’ll make quick progress. Over 20 pages, I explain and demonstrate in detail how to knit it. The knitting pattern is also suitable for beginners. I hope you enjoy making this project and receive many admiring glances when you wear it. Warm regards from Ina

P.S. If you’d like and have some yarn left over, you can knit a matching hat to go with it.

A stylish piece, this poncho! Once you’ve worn it, you won’t want to give it up. With its clever cut and elegant drape, it is an absolute figure-flatterer and conceals small problem areas. It weighs just under 200 g and doesn’t feel heavy on the shoulders. It fits all clothing sizes. The neckline size and back length are determined individually at the end. The knitting pattern and the design are suitable for knitting beginners and pros.

I hope you have lots of fun with the pattern and wearing your poncho. Yours, Ina

PS. Take a look at how great the pattern looks ...

Knitting pattern for a cape - also suitable for beginners.

This cape was knitted with Rowan Softest Merino Wool, and thanks to the thick yarn and large needles, it was finished quickly and is now waiting for snow and cold temperatures.

With a gauge, the pattern can easily be recalculated to the desired size and your preferred yarn.

Here is the pattern
