Big-Bärbel is a little round and otherwise not quite so perfect either, and that is what gives her special charm. Fun as an original Christmas ornament, as a gift tag, or simply as decoration.

The cute little trees and stars fly off your hook so quickly that you’ll have conjured up a whole little forest, complete with a starry sky, in no time.

You can use them as tree ornaments, gift tags, decorations for an Advent wreath, or table decor. Or place them as a wreath around a few candles, and you’ll have your own modern Advent decoration.

You can easily crochet the little trees with or without a loop. They are very easy and quick to crochet—so they are absolutely suitable for beginners.

You will receive a detailed PDF pattern (10 pages) with text and a clear crochet chart for all the little trees and for the star.

Still need some decorations for the Christmas tree? Or a few pretty gift tags? Even with Christmas just around the corner, that’s no problem, because these tags can be crocheted in no time from a few leftovers of yarn (glitter yarn or cotton yarn). You’ll get patterns for 4 different designs: a bell, a star, an angel and a snowflake! It’s fun and quick

Often, you need a small gift or token of appreciation on the spur of the moment. Grab an empty jam jar and fill it with any kind of tasty treat! And a knitting (or, if you prefer, crocheting) snowman is just the thing to decorate the lid! You can crochet one quickly using some white yarn. A scrap of sock yarn is all you need for the hat and scarf. And the knitting needles? Just two toothpicks!

These star decorations are quick and easy to crochet, even for beginners. They can be used to embellish other knitted or crocheted projects. They also look great as tree or window hangings and as table scatter.

Click here for the crochet pattern for the decorative stars.

Note: My shop also has a “Christmas Star” flowerpot cover. This pattern includes the decorative stars.

Mini Reindeer “Jonny” Crochet Pattern
Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern

Jonny, the cute little reindeer, is waiting for you to crochet him! Especially now during Advent and the Christmas season, people are often on the lookout for small gifts, and Jonny is perfect for that. Whether as a keychain, tree ornament, or bag charm, he always looks great and puts a smile on everyone’s face ;-) . What you’ll need:
  • Approx. 10g of brown/beige yarn, suitable for a size 1.5 crochet hook (e.g., “Manuela” by Schoeller & Stahl). Scraps of red and dark brown yarn for the nose and antlers, also suitable for a size 1.5 hook.
  • A darning needle and scissors
  • 1.5 mm crochet hook
  • stitch marker
  • stuffing
  • Googly eyes and/or leftover black yarn for embroidering the face
  • Keyring or string for hanging.
Difficulty level: Easy; however, because of the small crochet hook, you should already have experience working on larger projects and be confident in crocheting single crochet stitches in the round. You should also be able to create a magic ring, increase and decrease stitches, and sew on individual pieces. The crochet pattern is 13 pages long and includes plenty of pictures. I won’t leave you in the lurch when it comes to sewing on the individual pieces either ;-)

Reindeer Egg Cup Crochet Pattern
Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern

This cute and funny pair of reindeer will brighten up any breakfast table and put a smile on your face first thing in the morning ;-). The egg cups are real eye-catchers and also make great gifts! What you’ll need:
  • Approx. 20g of brown yarn suitable for a 2mm crochet hook. I used 100% cotton, which makes the egg cup nice and sturdy.
  • Scraps of light brown yarn (for the antlers), also suitable for a 2mm hook
  • Scraps of red yarn (for the nose), also suitable for a 2mm hook
  • 2mm crochet hook
  • 6mm safety eyes
  • stuffing
  • Scissors, darning needle, stitch markers
Difficulty level: Easy. You should be familiar with the following techniques: making a magic ring, increasing and decreasing single crochet stitches, attaching the different pieces, single crochet, slip stitches, chain stitches, and half double crochet. The crochet pattern is 18 pages long and includes step-by-step photos showing every step. I also show you how to attach the pieces in the photos.

..can still be crocheted quickly while decorating the Christmas tree:

Crochet pattern for Christmas decoration / star / flower

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

The PDF pattern has plenty of pictures.

All you need is a small amount of leftover yarn, approx. 10 g of a metallic yarn, e.g. used here: Nora Madeira, 25 g – 100 m, 80% viscose, 20% metallized polyester for crochet hook size 2.5 - 3.0.
But you can also use any yarn you like with a matching crochet hook size. The size of the finished piece will then change according to the yarn.
You will also need crochet hook size 2.5, scissors, and a yarn needle here.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows and crocheting in rounds. The pattern includes link tips for crochet techniques.

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas season.
