The cool POTZBLITZ and HAMBURG AHOI beanie hats are also a fantastic after-work and weekend project. They can be made wonderfully from leftover yarn; there are no limits to your imagination and choice of colors. Of course, the pattern is detailed, and the best part: it works with many yarn weights!

When the week is finally over and it’s stormy and snowing outside, it’s nice to curl up on the sofa with a relaxing knitting project. This stole, knitted from sock-weight yarn, is very relaxing and perfect for watching TV. Yarn usage depends on the desired width and length. The pattern is simple and suitable even for beginners.

You can find the pattern here.

Scarves are in high demand this time of year, and you can get quite a bit done over a weekend.
This scarf is knitted from sock yarn using a lace and cable pattern. It looks very elegant, but it’s not difficult at all.

You can find the pattern here.

A crocheted lace shawl brings joy and looks beautiful. Basically, you can crochet the shawl with any yarn you like. My original is made with lace yarn, but you can also use other yarn weights—maybe not too thick. The pattern itself is easy to follow and relaxing. A crochet chart helps you work it up.

Here’s the pattern.

I’m sure you’re already in the process of buying or finishing up Christmas gifts. And I’m sure you’re also already thinking about wrapping them. If you’d also like to give a gift to a child, then this little househere is a suitable packaging idea.

The little house is made of cardstock and measures approximately 18.5 x 24 x 16 cm. It’s quick and easy to make and is also very well suited as an after-work project.

How about a few cute ornaments for your Christmas gifts as a weekend project?
Angels or little bells, or both?

The cute angels or little bells are heavenly quick and really easy to crochet—so they’re still great to make “last minute.” Perfect for using up leftover yarn.

You can use the ornaments as tree decorations, gift tags, decor for the Advent wreath, table decorations, etc.

Here’s the pattern for the angels
