These little musical angels are so cute that you’ll want to keep them on display even after Christmas. You can also make them without musical instruments and give them as good-luck charms or guardian angels. They’re very easy to crochet—even beginners will have no trouble with them.
Use Catania by Schachenmayr (LL 125 m / 50 g), Catania fine (165 m / 50 g), and silver glitter yarn from Gründel (110 m / 25 g). Doll’s wool or mohair yarn also works best for the hair. You can find the instruments at craft stores. Just a few pieces of leftover yarn are enough for one little angel.
You can download the pattern here!

Crochet Pattern Christmas Decoration / Star / Flower

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Now during Advent, this pretty decoration can be crocheted quickly.

The PDF pattern includes plenty of pictures.

All you need is a leftover yarn of approx. 10 g of metallic yarn, e.g. used here: Nora Madeira, 25 g – 100 m, 80% viscose, 20% metallized polyester for crochet hook size 2.5 - 3.0.
However, any yarn you like with the appropriate crochet hook size can also be used. The size of the finished piece will then change according to the yarn. In addition, crochet hook size 2.5, scissors, and a yarn needle are needed here.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows, and crocheting in rounds. The pattern includes link tips for crochet techniques.

Advent-themed - useful decor - not just for Christmas:

Dish sponge ball with or without a face plus dishcloth - crochet pattern

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Quick to crochet in the popular dish sponge yarn (washable at 60°C in the dishwasher or washing machine) - also as a useful little (Christmas) gift..

Included in the download :
  • PDF crochet pattern for a dish sponge ball with an embroidered face (diameter approx. 7 cm)
  • PDF crochet pattern for a dishcloth (dimensions: approx. 20 cm x 20 cm)
Both patterns include a short version and a detailed, illustrated pattern plus crochet basics with all stitches used.
Addition to the pattern for the dishcloth: if you would like to crochet a hanging loop onto
the cloth, you can crochet the hanging loop according to the
dish sponge ball pattern.

The embroidered little face gives the dish sponge ball a funny touch for gifts. If the ball is pushed outward
(not filled), it is a smiling dish sponge;
pushed inward, it is a “Halloween face.” If left without a “face,”
the ball also looks great as a Christmas ornament .

Material for 1 dishcloth + 1 dish sponge ball:
approx. 50 g Rico Creative Bubble, 100% polyester, e.g. color 007 light blue +
50 g (or leftover yarn) col. 012 black, 50 g – 100 m, washable at 60°C
in the dishwasher, crochet hook 4.0;
If the dishcloth is used as a potholder, please use 100%
cotton yarn (potholder yarn) because of its heat resistance.

Are you still looking for a hand-crocheted highlight for your Christmas decor or a small but lovely gift to bring along for Advent coffee with a dear friend?

Crochet these heavenly beautiful stars made from Granny Triangles!

The stars make wonderful decorations for the window, the door wreath, as decorative scatter, or as Christmas tree ornaments.
They are multi-layered, which gives them great stability, and they look great from
both sides - so they can also hang beautifully "freely in the room"
as well.

Click here for lots more pictures and info

The stars in the picture are made from Catania by Schachenmayr (100%
cotton, 125m yardage per 50g), and for one large star you only need approx. 25g and for one small one only approx. 16g. But you can also use any other yarn. Maybe you already have
something suitable in your yarn stash? Then you can start
crocheting today...:-)

The step-by-step pattern with over 60 high-quality photos and illustrations is very detailed. It includes an exact written explanation and a crochet chart. The PDF pattern has 16 pages.

Difficulty level: intermediate
, but the pattern is so detailed that even beginners with some experience can give it a try!

The following crochet skills are needed for this project: chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, half double crochet,
double crochet, treble crochet, crocheting in rounds.

Have fun crocheting!

What would winter be without a snowman? Pretty sad! That's why these two come as a pair. Mr. Snowman proudly wears a top hat, while his wife is equipped with a muff and earmuffs. Very caringly, Mr. Snowman has put an arm around her. Hopefully his wife won’t melt with so much love.

Crochet these two sweet egg cozies and decorate your breakfast table with this lovely snowman couple!

The bright red leaves of the poinsettia—whether as houseplants or in knitted, crocheted, or crafted form—are our ever-present companions during the pre-Christmas season. This plant also served as my inspiration for this tea light holder.

The tea light holder is made from cardstock and measures approximately 15.5 x 4 cm. It’s very quick and easy to make and is well-suited even for beginners.

Advent, Advent, a little candle burns.......

With this table runner, you’ll create a Christmas atmosphere in your home. It’s an eye-catcher on any festively decorated table and invites everyone to linger.

What would Christmas be without a nativity scene? As a passionate knitter, mine naturally has to be made of wool, and I designed it so that the figures match the Three Wise Men. Mary, Joseph, and the Christ Child are easy for advanced beginners to manage with my step-by-step pattern, too, and you’ll see, it’s a lot of fun!

Here you’ll find lots of info and the pattern: CLICK!
