@everyone,

How about the cute reindeer keychain “Jonny”?
Jonny is quick to crochet and is also perfect as a bag charm or tree ornament.
What you’ll need:
  • Approx. 10g of yarn in brown/beige, suitable for a 1.5 mm crochet hook (e.g. “Manuela” by Schoeller & Stahl). Leftover yarn in red and dark brown for the nose and antlers, also suitable for a 1.5 mm hook.
  • Darning needle and scissors
  • 1.5 mm crochet hook
  • stitch marker
  • stuffing
  • Googly eyes and/or leftover black yarn for embroidering the face
  • Key ring or thread for hanging.
Difficulty level: Easy, but because of the small crochet hook, you should already have worked on larger pieces and be confident crocheting single crochet stitches in continuous rounds. You should also be able to make a magic ring, increase and decrease stitches, and sew on individual parts. Length: 13-page crochet pattern, illustrated with lots of pictures. I also won’t leave you on your own when it comes to sewing the individual parts together ;-)

... and the rest, which somehow disappeared...

The figure is a wonderful decoration for the Advent season and the Christmas holidays
– it works beautifully as a window decoration, door decoration, tree ornament, etc.
With a few leftover yarn scraps and basic crochet skills, Santa Claus can be crocheted up quickly.

What you need:
  • Cotton yarn (yardage 115 m/50 g), e.g. Gründl Cotton Fun
  • 25 g for the body and the hat (red)
  • 5 g for the hair and the hat (white)
  • less than 5 g for the face (natural/skin-colored)
  • less than 5 g for the belt (black)
  • A small leftover bit of yellow (belt buckle)
  • Some white fairy wool
  • Some black embroidery thread for embroidering the face
  • Some white sewing thread with a matching sewing needle
  • stuffing
  • 1 size 3 crochet hook
  • 1 embroidery needle for weaving in the ends and sewing the individual pieces together

What you should know how to do:
    • chain stitches
    • slip stitches
    • double crochets incl. increases and decreases
    • crocheting in rows

An absolute last-minute gift:

Dish sponge ball with or without a face plus dishcloth - crochet pattern

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

.. quick to crochet in one evening in front of the TV..

Included in the download :
  • PDF crochet pattern for a dish sponge ball with embroidered face (diameter approx. 7 cm)
  • PDF crochet pattern for a dishcloth (dimensions: approx. 20 cm x 20 cm)
Both patterns include a short version and a detailed, illustrated pattern plus crochet basics with all stitches used.
Addition to the pattern for the dishcloth: if you would like to crochet a hanging loop onto the cloth, you can crochet the loop according to the dish sponge ball pattern.

The embroidered little face gives the dish sponge ball a fun touch for gifts. If the ball (not filled) is pushed outward, it is a smiling dish sponge; pushed inward, it is a “Halloween face.” If left without a “face,” it is an unbreakable and washable Christmas tree ornament.

Materials for 1 dishcloth + 1 dish sponge ball:
approx. 50 g Rico Creative Bubble, 100% polyester, e.g. color 007 light blue + 50 g (or leftover yarn) col. 012 black, 50 g – 100 m, dishwasher-safe at 60 °C, crochet hook 4.0; scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.
PLEASE NOTE: In this yarn, black is only suitable for embroidering or for borders.
If the dishcloth is used as a potholder , please use 100% cotton yarn (potholder yarn) because of its heat resistance.

The “little snowflakes” decorations/coasters, with a diameter of about 10 cm, are perfect for the Christmas season and create a cozy atmosphere. They can be placed on the festive table as coasters for candleholders or used as door and window decorations. You don’t need much yarn to make a snowflake, so these can be crocheted from leftover yarn.
