Little train drivers will love this: a crocheted train they can play with safely! It has room for little dolls, and since it’s so soft, they can even take it to bed to help them fall asleep. And if it ends up in the sandbox, it can be washed!

Little girls love playing with Barbie dolls. For Christmas, they’re sure to be happy about new winter clothes.
With the crochet pattern for sweater and pants you can create all kinds of different designs, as you can see in the image above:

For all the doll clothes, leftover yarn in a fine weight (4-ply sock yarn, Catania Fine, or similar) and basic crochet skills are enough.

Paper dolls are also always popular and are the kind of gift that costs hardly anything but provides long-lasting playtime fun. The great thing about this playtime classic – you can make endless dresses for a paper doll yourself in no time at all, and all you need is paper, pens, scissors, and a little drawing talent.


 
The Mila doll is about 25.6 cm tall, fully drawn, and only needs to be printed out, glued onto sturdier paper, and cut out. Then you can get started making clothes! Dish Sponge Ball with or without a Face plus Dishcloth - Crochet Pattern

Quick to crochet with the popular dish sponge yarn (washable at 60°C in the dishwasher or washing machine). It’s fun.

Both patterns include a short version and a detailed, illustrated pattern plus crochet basics with all stitches used.

The colorful birds can be made quickly in one long evening, and all you need is leftover yarn, a size 2.5 crochet hook, and an empty Kinder Surprise egg capsule.
Of course, you can also crochet them cuddly with stuffing wool.

For the friendly penguins in colorful plumage, you only need to know chain stitches, single crochet, and slip stitches.
