If you can crochet a little, you can easily make your own Christmas tree decorations. Here you'll get a pattern for four different ornaments that you can use as tree decorations or as gift tags. They are all very easy to crochet. You can use glitter yarn or solid-colored cotton; both look good. Since you only need a very small amount of yarn, this is a wonderful way to use up your leftover yarn.
Get started right away and get the pattern here!

Quick and easy—you can crochet these decorative stars made from granny triangles!

You can crochet the first star together with me, round by round and picture by picture, and once you’ve got the hang of it, it’s even quicker and easier! :-)

Only have a little time for crocheting over the next few weeks? One star is a lovely little project for about 1 1/2 hours, and it makes a great impression all by itself in the window or as an ornament! And if you enjoy it and get a few more nice hours of crochet time, maybe many more stars will follow and decorate your home...

and you’ll go directly to the pattern

The stars in the picture are made from Catania by Schachenmayr (100% cotton, 125 m length per 50 g), and you only need about 25 g for a large star and about 16 g for a small one. But you can also use any other yarn. Maybe you already have something suitable in your yarn stash? Then you can start crocheting today...:-)

The step-by-step pattern with over 60 high-quality photos and illustrations is very detailed. It includes a precise written explanation and a crochet chart. The PDF pattern consists of 16 pages.

Difficulty level: intermediate
, but the pattern is so detailed that even beginners with a little experience can give it a try!

You need the following crochet skills for this project: chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, crocheting in rounds.

Have fun crocheting!

Books are always a popular Christmas gift. To go with one, you could add a knitted bookmark. It’s very quick to make, and you only need a small leftover piece of cotton yarn. It gives the gift an extra personal touch.

You can find the pattern here.

Many people also enjoy receiving sweets as a gift. Of course, that isn’t very exciting for a true handcraft enthusiast. So that both the recipient and the giver get what they want, you can put the sweets into small knitted pouches. That way, the sweet tooth gets what they want, and it also comes stylishly wrapped.

Small snowflakes can be crocheted quickly, have an easy difficulty level, and should not be a problem at all for a beginner.
The decorations/coasters " small snowflakes " with a diameter of approx. 10 cm are very well suited for the Christmas season and create a cozy atmosphere. They can be placed nicely on the festive table as coasters for candle holders or used as door/window decorations. Not much yarn is needed to make one snowflake, so these can even be crocheted from leftover yarn.

NEW:
Dish sponge (Christmas) ball with or without a face plus dishcloth - crochet pattern

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Quick to crochet with the popular dish sponge yarn (washable at 60°C in the dishwasher or washing machine).

Included in the download :
  • PDF crochet pattern for a dish sponge ball with an embroidered face (diameter approx. 7 cm)
  • PDF crochet pattern for a dishcloth (size: approx. 20 cm x 20 cm)
Both patterns include a short version and a detailed, illustrated pattern plus crochet basics with all stitches used.
Addition to the dishcloth pattern: if you would like to crochet a hanger onto the cloth, you can crochet the hanger according to the dish sponge ball pattern.

The embroidered little face gives the dish sponge ball a fun touch for gifts. If the ball (not filled) is pushed outward, it is a smiling dish sponge; pushed inward, it is a “Halloween face.” If left without a “face,” the ball also looks great as a Christmas ornament .

Materials for 1 dishcloth + 1 dish sponge ball:
approx. 50 g Rico Creative Bubble, 100% polyester, e.g. color 007 light blue + 50 g (or leftover yarn) col. 012 black, 50 g – 100 m, washable at 60°C in the dishwasher, crochet hook 4.0; scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.
If the dishcloth is used as a potholder, please use 100% cotton yarn (potholder yarn) for heat resistance.
