These 3 Christmas egg cozies will decorate any breakfast table during Advent! You can crochet them quickly and easily using leftover yarn you already have. I used Catania by Schachenmayr and a bit of fluffy yarn. But you can use any yarn of a similar weight (yardage 125 m/50 g, crochet hook 2.5 mm).
You can find the pattern here!

This crocheted (or knitted—both are possible!) snowman fits perfectly on the lid of a jam jar. What a great breakfast decoration for craft lovers! It’s a simple crochet pattern, suitable even for beginners. If you also know how to knit, you can knit the hat and scarf and give the snowman another needle to hold in his other hand.

How about these cute reindeer egg cups?
Click here for the crochet pattern

This sweet and funny reindeer pair brightens up any breakfast table and puts a smile on your face first thing in the morning ;-). The egg cups are real eye-catchers and also make great gifts! What you’ll need:
  • Approx. 20g of brown wool/yarn suitable for a 2mm crochet hook. I used 100% cotton, which makes the egg cup nice and sturdy.
  • Scraps in light brown (for the antlers), also suitable for a 2mm hook
  • Scraps in red (for the nose), also suitable for a 2mm hook
  • 2mm crochet hook
  • 6mm safety eyes
  • Stuffing
  • Scissors, darning needle, stitch marker
Difficulty level: Easy. You should be familiar with the following: making a magic ring, increasing and decreasing single crochet stitches, sewing on the various pieces, single crochet, slip stitches, chain stitches, and half double crochet. Length: 18 pages of crochet pattern with pictures showing everything step by step. I also show you how to sew on the pieces in the pictures.

This little Christmas tree takes up very little space on the breakfast table, but it’ll put you back in the Christmas spirit from the very first meal of the day.

The little tree, which is about 15 cm tall, is made of cardstock and is easy to make. Aside from the waiting time for the glitter liner decoration, it comes together very quickly, so you can quickly make more little trees for your shelves, mantel, or desk.

Every year again...
Christmas time = crochet time
There’s nothing like a festively decorated Christmas table!

Filet crochet is perfect for creating a decorative Christmas atmosphere.
This pattern is ideal for beginners - this table runner will be finished in no time!

A detailed description of the filet technique can be found in the pattern.
A chart guides you through the Christmas design.

The finished table runner is approximately 60 x 20 cm in size.
However, the stated gauge and the chart leave room for individual lengths.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

How about this unusual decoration on the Christmas table? I guarantee it will be THE eye-catcher and put everyone in a good mood at the table right away. If you have a longer table, you can also make a few more snow globes like this as table decorations.

The free pattern is available here on my blog.

I hope you have lots of fun crafting and decorating. Yours, Ina

The special charm of a beautifully set Christmas table is that you eat and drink together while also enjoying the lovely decorations. It shouldn’t be just a bare tablecloth, but a lovingly arranged decoration to suit the occasion. And something handmade always attracts admiring and curious glances while also providing great conversation.

I always have the white snowflakes on my Christmas breakfast table too. They are crocheted and then stiffened so that you can decorate with them anywhere. Here you can go directly to the crochet pattern.

I hope you enjoy this little crochet project and have a wonderful Christmas season. Yours, Ina

Christmas is also a time for small, thoughtful surprises. If you have guests for breakfast at Christmas, you could place one of these little sweet bags (perhaps crocheted in festive red and white) at each guest’s place, filled with a small surprise and a mini Christmas ornament (or a little fir twig). It looks pretty, and everyone loves surprises.

I hope you enjoy this charming idea, which is very easy to make. You can also reuse the bags later for other occasions and table decorations—unless your guests have taken them all home.

Warm regards from Ina

My snowmen look absolutely adorable on a festively set table.
With LED lights, they’re the centerpiece of any table.
