One of the first signs of spring is the pussy willow. The flower child is still dressed warmly, because the first spring nights are still quite chilly! But when the sun comes out, she loves to play with the soft pussy willows on the branch!
Crochet this enchanting spring decoration and bring a little spring spirit into your home right now!

Cheerful spring colors help you get through gloomy winter days:

Knitting pattern Egg Cozy BIGGI - quick and easy

(Please click the image to purchase/download)

Funny egg cozies, and not just for Easter! Plus, they’re an ideal way to use up leftover yarn.

Quick and easy to knit in one evening in front of the TV, they make a last-minute little gift for any occasion.

Basic knitting skills are enough.
We knit in rounds with a set of double-pointed needles. Embellishments can be added as desired and according to your own creativity.

Materials:
Basically, any yarn can be used with a slightly smaller needle size than indicated on the label.

1 egg cozy: approx. 10 g – 15 g yarn leftover + leftover yarn for embellishing; here: set of double-pointed needles size 4.0 and crochet hook approx. 3.0 for “knotting in hair”; yarn needle for weaving in ends, sewing needle and buttons if needed, tape measure, scissors.
Recommendation: embroider the eyes in black if the egg cozies are used as amigurumi for babies/toddlers.

Included in the PDF download:

  • Short pattern in text form, designed for yarns with approx. 105 m yardage per 50 g
  • Step-by-step illustrated pattern, designed for yarns with approx. 85 m yardage per 50 g
each knitted with a set of double-pointed needles size 4.0 (this makes the egg cozies nice and dense, and they stand up on their own)

  • Photo tutorial “Embroidering in duplicate stitch
  • Photo tutorial “Knotting in hair with a crochet hook"
  • Separate PDF pattern for the “double long-tail cast-on

Oh, if only it were spring already! Then we could unpack our lighter clothes and wear this wonderfully light and delicate shawl. But, you winter haters, rest assured—the time for that will come again.
The shawl is crocheted with lace yarn (you can also use other types of yarn—just a tip for winter lovers), and you can easily crochet it to any size you like. Or if you run out of yarn, just stop. You don’t need any special prior knowledge; you just need to know the basic crochet stitches, and the pattern also includes a crochet chart.

Click here to see the shawl.

When the first fresh vegetables are available at the market in spring, you need a shopping bag to carry spinach, fresh garlic, and spring onions home. How about a knitted bag? It looks good and draws admiring glances.
It is knitted from cotton, and you can use either thick or thin cotton. The pattern includes detailed descriptions for both. Everything is also explained exactly round by round, and a knitting chart additionally illustrates the pattern.

You can find the bag here.

How about some lanterns to chase away the winter gray? You can crochet them in all kinds of colors, of course also in spring colors, in bright colors, or would you rather make them in Christmas colors?
The pattern includes lots of pictures and detailed step-by-step explanations. You’ll also only need leftover yarn, a wire ring, and decorative elements as desired.

Spring is coming soon, and what could be better than wearing this great accessory around your neck? Once you’ve knitted the pattern the first few
times, it’s very easy to memorize, and relaxing
knitting is the order of the day. I knitted my loop scarf a little shorter, so
that it can be wrapped around the neck once. But you can lengthen it as much as you like
and also get ready for fall.
The pattern includes a professional knitting chart and written
instructions.

You can escape the wintry gray super quickly—and with a practical bonus—with a fun dish sponge. I designed Easter and summer sponges that will bring a warm feeling to your kitchen. In my store you'll find more patterns for dishcloths/sponges. They are crocheted, suitable for beginners, and explain step by step how to make the sponges. In my case, the material is creative bubble by rico design, but by now there is also an alternative from Rellana. The yarn is made of 100% poly and has excellent dishwashing properties.

With these pretty & colorful tulips, you can bring spring to your table in winter ♥

They are fairly easy to crochet (only single crochet stitches are worked in spiral rounds), and since you only need a little cotton yarn per tulip, you can make great use of your leftover yarn stash :-)

Depending on the yarn, the finished tulips will be about 22 cm tall.
