This beautiful triangular shawl looks lovely in many colors!

Triangular shawl pattern

It is knitted with two strands, using wool with a yardage of 420 m/100 g and a very fine
mohair-silk blend, on a size 6 circular needle.

The knitting pattern is very simple and well explained, and the size is
variable because it is knitted from the bottom up.

We were very curious about the HEMP NATURAL YARN "WoCa" by ADRIAFIL...
... and right away another triangular shawl was created.
Here, wool with hemp was transformed into a soft natural yarn.

The play of colors and the simple yet sophisticated pattern are convincing!
This triangular shawl also becomes a "MUST HAVE" in merino or cotton!

The size is approximately 222 x 53 cm.

A detailed description guides you through the pattern structure -
for clarification, a crochet chart can also be found in the pattern.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

Dreaming of summer in winter: A hint of the beach and gentle waves surrounds the EBBE & FLUT triangular shawl!
Let yourself be swept away—knit yourself this summer dream and let your thoughts drift off to the sea for a little while......

Difficulty level: Ambitious, experienced beginners and advanced knitters

You should be able to do this: knit and purl stitches, twisted knit stitches, yarn overs, knitting stitches together, passed-over decreases, bobbles (they are very easy and explained in detail), working from a knitting chart

MATERIAL:
Yarn:
  • from LIFE IN THE LONGGRASS: Dappled (75% virgin wool, 25% nylon, yardage 425 m/100 g): 100 g in the “Tidepool” colorway (= multicolor/pastel) and 100 g in the “Winter City” colorway (= heathered aubergine).
  • from EDEN COTTAGE YARNS: BFL Sock (100% virgin wool, yardage = 400 m/100 g): 100 g in the “Pennine Mist” colorway (= gray-blue)
Yarn alternatives:
  • All 4-ply sock yarns with a yardage of approx. 400-420 m/100 g
  • the shawl can also be made with somewhat thicker yarns (yardage 250-400 m/100g)
Needles:
  • 1 long circular knitting needle size 3-3.5 (or accordingly larger for thicker yarns).
Other:
  • 1 stitch marker
And here’s the pattern: triangular shawl EBBE und FLUT

Have fun dreaming and knitting,
Annette

A cuddly-soft dream in heather colors is the AUTUMN BLISS stole! Made from fine yarn, a simple lace wave pattern, and a somewhat unusual shape, it becomes a versatile companion for many occasions: sometimes elegantly draped over the shoulders, sometimes casually wrapped as a voluminous scarf, or as an elegant stole for an evening outfit—this wing scarf always fits!

Measurements: approx. 190 x 40 cm

You should know how to: knit and purl stitches, yarn overs, knit stitches together, simple decreases, short rows, work from a knitting chart.

MATERIAL:
  • Yarn: 200 g Fini Silk by Zauberwiese
  • 1 long circular knitting needle size 4
Yarn alternatives:
  • Kinu + Sensai by ITO knitted together
  • or any other yarn with approx. 350 m yardage/100 g; gradient yarns are also possible!
Get the knitting pattern here: AUTUMN BLISS Stole

Happy knitting from
Annette

No winter is complete without a huge cozy shawl .

An asymmetrical shawl with a special feature for “fuss-free” comfort. The shawl can be worn like a very voluminous loop. Either with the point facing forward or backward to keep your back warm. The shawl is knitted in garter stitch and features an i-cord border all around for a neat finish that ends in the points. Thanks to a special design feature, nothing slips out of place, nothing slides off your shoulders, and the yarn is wonderfully cozy.

Materials:
  • 5 x 50 g Lang Yarns Ario, 150 m per 50 g
  • 2 Natural + 3 Dark Gray
  • Circular needle size 6 or 7, at least 80 cm
  • Scissors and needle
Requirements:
  • knit stitch, increases, and decreases
Size:
  • 110 cm x 220 cm unblocked (I would never block this super cozy yarn anyway)

Openwork Shoulder Shawl/Scarf/Stole – Easy – Knitted

(Click the image to purchase/download )

Any yarn and size are possible.

This is a feather-light gradient lace shawl (yarn used here: 150 g Austermann Caleido Lace for approx. 42 cm x 112 cm) in a simple openwork pattern that can be worn as a shoulder shawl, scarf, or even a hooded scarf. Ideal for all gradient yarns with the appropriate needle size.

Basic knitting skills (casting on, knit and purl stitches, edge stitches, yarn overs, knitting stitches together, binding off) are sufficient.

White always works, otherwise in your favorite colors—also great in gradient yarns:

Crochet pattern for a triangular shawl for any yarn

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

For this triangular shawl for all seasons, you can basically use any yarn you like—the thinner, the more elegant. Size: any.

For the size made here, approx. 70 cm x 162 cm, I used 350 g of Schachenmayr Cotton Bamboo, 50 g – 120 m, needle size according to the label 3–4, here crochet hook 4.0. For visual reasons, I wouldn’t recommend thicker yarn. I decided not to block the shawl, as that makes the curves of the shell pattern stand out better—but that’s a matter of taste.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, front post double crochet (explained).

The PDF pattern is illustrated over 15 pages, but it is not a crochet course. A link/video tip for a crochet course and more is included.

The PDF contains

  • in the first part, detailed instructions with corresponding images,
  • in the second part, a shorter version that is also illustrated, and
  • last but not least, a short version for a scarf/shawl variation.
Difficulty level: easy to intermediate - no crochet chart - no gauge required
