Crochet Pattern Advent Calendar Mother Holle
With this Advent calendar, you have a very varied project; many small individual pieces are crocheted one by one. The shutters in particular require skill when making and attaching them. They are secured with buttons so they can be tightened at any time, because with daily use they may start to sag.

Pattern and info from Frau Holle

Creativity is also needed when filling it every day—a wonderful Advent calendar for the whole family.
A challenge that is definitely worth it. After Advent, Mother Holle is still an eye-catcher as a winter door wreath.

The pattern uses no abbreviations and is currently available with a 10% discount.

They are crocheted using only single crochet stitches. You can find the pattern here!

How about it? Would you like to try your hand at knitted cables or lace patterns? You can do just that with this scarf.

You’ll find the pattern here.

It’s not extremely difficult, but it’s definitely not suitable for beginners!
You’ll need sock yarn or yarn of a similar weight; the amount you’ll need depends on the desired length.

Things get a little trickier with a lace shawl. But that’s nothing to be afraid of. The shawl can be knitted in any size you like, and the yarn needed will depend on that. You’ll need sock-weight yarn and a circular knitting needle. Everything else is explained in detail in the pattern, both in writing and with several knitting charts.

Here’s the pattern.

If all that still isn’t difficult enough for you, I’ve got a real treat here: a scarf in double knitting with several different motifs. You should bring some experience with the technique and quite a bit of patience for this.

You can find the pattern here.

Crochet Beanie/Hat (unisex) with Small Cables

(Click the image to purchase/download )

This pretty crocheted beanie—designed for head circumferences ranging from 52 cm to approx. 60 cm —is suitable for men, women, and children alike. The mini cables give it a nice texture, allowing you to wear it in many different ways, including as a hat.

The PDF pattern includes

  • Information on various alternative yarns
  • Short version (for printing)
  • Detailed, richly illustrated crochet pattern
  • Useful links, including resources for learning to crochet
Crochet skills required—the following stitches are used: chain stitches, slip stitches (explained), half double crochets, double crochets, and front and back post double crochets (illustrated).

Materials needed:
150 g recommended (I used exactly 100 g—only a 30 cm scrap of yarn was left over) Adriafil Tabata, 100% wool, 50 g – 75 m, according to the label for hook size 7.0, Gauge according to label: 13 sts x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Alternative yarns: “Chunky” weight with similar yardage and label specifications (e.g., Rico Essentials Alpaca Chunky); Contrary to the label specifications, this pattern uses crochet hooks sizes 6.5 and 9.0; gauge using a size 9.0 crochet hook: 10 double crochets = approx. 10 cm. You’ll also need a measuring tape, scissors, a yarn needle for weaving in ends, and stitch markers (a contrasting thread can also be used).

This St. Nicholas boot is for experienced crafters: While cutting out all the individual pieces is quite quick, assembling them requires patience, dexterity, and some crafting experience in a few places.

The boot is made of cardstock and measures approximately 22 x 21.5 x 9 cm.

Crochet Pattern Star Bowl / Potholder

Here I have for you a bowl in the shape of a star, or a star as a potholder - both are very lovely.

I have explained everything step by step and included lots of pictures. There are 2 different sizes, 17.0 cm and 21.0 cm. So you can crochet a beautiful bowl in 2 sizes, or make a potholder or coaster from this crochet pattern. If you crochet this bowl in a nice red and white, perhaps with some green too, it would be wonderful for the Christmas season. Stars as coasters always look great, but especially at Christmas. With a little practice, it can be crocheted in a weekend. Maybe even in just one afternoon.

Only partially suitable for beginners, but I’m always happy to help.

Materials
  • ProLana Joker 87 m LL / 50 g
  • Crochet hook 3.5 mm (or as desired)
  • Sewing needle/darning needle
  • Scissors
What will be crocheted
  • Chain stitch
  • Slip stitch
  • Single crochet
  • Double crochet
  • Half double crochet
  • Back loop (back loop)
Have fun, Dorigurumi wishes you!

A great knitting pattern for anyone looking for a new challenge is the pattern for the stylish Eryn shawl!

This beautiful shawl with an unusual shape is knitted from the top down – starting with a classic center stitch, which later splits. Small beads can be worked into the leafy vines.
The fringe, which is knotted into the edge at the end, adds the highlight.

The shawl can be used in many ways. With its look, it fits right into the trendy boho style and can also be worn as a poncho – fastened with a pretty brooch or pin. This lovely shawl is also perfect as an accessory for a pretty dirndl or as an elegant eye-catcher with evening or even wedding attire.

The finished measurements after blocking are approx. 180 x 73 cm. Gauge: 25 sts x 30 rows = 10 cm, stockinette stitch, needle size 3.5 mm

Required materials
  • approx. 1000 m yarn (e.g. cotton, merino wool, linen, hand-wound designer yarn – the yarn should not be thicker than sock yarn), usage for Part 1 approx. 30%, for Part 2 approx. 70%
  • Knitting needles suitable for the yarn used
  • 2–4 stitch markers
  • Beads (e.g. rocailles/seed beads)
  • a piece of very thin wire (for threading the beads) or dental floss
  • Crochet hook for knotting in the fringe
  • Sewing needle for weaving in the ends
  • Scissors
  • Stitch holder (e.g. cable needle)
Required skills:
  • knit stitches
  • purl stitches
  • yarn overs
  • knitting stitches together
  • crossing stitches
The pattern includes 18 pages and contains written instructions as well as  detailed knitting charts (charts)  and a tutorial for threading beads. Difficulty level: Intermediate

This is a beautiful set—not just for a christening—it also looks great in pastel colors and has such a lovely nostalgic feel. However, the lace pattern and shape aren’t for beginners.

This poncho + triangular shawl with a lace pattern and waves is guaranteed not to get boring while knitting. And as a nice bonus, you’ll have a stylish eye-catcher for spring.

What makes it special: This lovely piece can be worn both as a triangular shawl and as a poncho. It’s a true quick-change artist.

Every step is described in detail in the pattern and documented with photos.

This cozy, warm winter jacket with pockets is very easy to knit for advanced knitters. However, you should already have a bit of experience.

It’s knitted from the bottom up with multiple skeins as a bottom-up raglan, resulting in almost no seams—only at the pockets.

The stitch pattern is nicely stretchy yet still figure-hugging. That makes the measurements a very good fit for sizes 38–42.

Click here for the knitting pattern for the warm cardigan with pockets – bottom-up raglan.
