Quick tip first: beginners should not use mohair yarns.

Knitted poncho/stole, feather-light - very easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

One size - the pattern and cut are absolutely suitable for beginners.

This is a short pattern for a feather-light, very easy-to-knit poncho in one size, made with just 100 g of KidSilk (Austermann). For beginners, I recommend (lace) yarns without mohair, as mohair is almost impossible to unravel.

The PDF pattern includes the preview image.

By the way: The poncho can also be knitted as a warm outdoor poncho with thick wool, 100 g - 100 m, using needle size 8.0. The required amount of yarn is then approx. 700 g. The number of stitches always depends on your individual gauge.
To convert your individual gauge, I recommend this here:
READ IT OFF instead of calculating - PDF table for knitting and crochet
as well as my blog post: Converting gauge - here's how it works..

Required knitting skills:
casting on, edge stitch (your favorite edge stitch), knit and purl stitches, bind off.

Knitting pattern for simple baby booties “Jakob” - also ideal for beginners

(For purchase/download, please click the image)

Baby booties for every outfit – quick and easy to knit.

You can also divide up the colors differently as you like, fold the cuff inward or outward, sew on a button, etc.

The step-by-step illustrated main pattern describes the version shown in the title image. There is also a short pattern to print out and a sketch (be sure to download it).

These basic knitting skills are required:
casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, knitting in rows, edge stitches, binding off, changing colors.

We need:
50 g soft merino yarn with approx. 120 m - 130 m yardage per 50 g ball, color petrol, for knitting needle size 3–4, approx. 20 g of matching leftover yarn in the same yarn weight, color eggshell white or light beige (= leftover yarn). Gauge according to the ball band: 22 stitches x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm, used here: knitting needle 3.5, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle, for the bow a 3.0 crochet hook.

If you'd like to try working with a set of double-pointed needles:

Casting on stitches with a set of double-pointed needles - special cast-on technique

As a supplement to my sock-knitting patterns/courses, I have a trick for everyone who wants to cast on stitches with a set of double-pointed needles and distribute them evenly over 4 needles so the stitches don't get twisted:

Here’s the blog post: Casting on stitches with a set of double-pointed needles - trick

Do you know this? You want to knit socks, hat(s), or something else that requires a set of double-pointed needles because you can’t (anymore) get around the round with a circular knitting needle? The cast-on stitches are usually distributed over 4 needles. The problem: the individual needles somehow hang down, dangle, twist, and get tangled up—what a muddle. The result is often—twisted stitches.

The solution: a special cast-on for the set of double-pointed needles.

This is also a very simple knitting project:

Knitting Pattern Blanket NATURELL - crocheted border - easy

Finished measurements here: approx. 130 cm x 130 cm.

The short PDF pattern consists of 2 pages and includes 3 images from the image gallery (a knitting/crochet course is not included, but there is a link tip).

These skills are used:
Knitting: casting on stitches, purl and knit stitches, binding off stitches.
Crochet: chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, crocheting pieces together.

We need
:
Yarn of your choice or, as used here: Hauswolle by Schoeller+Stahl (60% wool, 40% PAC, 100 g – 200 m, for needle size 3.5 – 4.0); gauge according to the ball band 18.5 sts x 27 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm; alternative yarn: Biolana by Mondial (100% organic sheep's wool, 50 g – 100 m, for needle size 4.5 – 5.5), gauge according to the ball band 15 sts x 20 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm. 1000 g in natural white or similar / 200 g in olive green, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends, used here: knitting needle size 5.0 (so the blanket becomes cozier) and crochet hook size 4.0 for crocheting together and edging.

Even as a beginner, you sometimes want to try your hand at a larger project!
With this poncho, that's no problem at all—the success is guaranteed!

A wonderfully light—but still very warm thanks to the camel hair—poncho is waiting for you here!
The technique is basically kept simple—but the small cable border adds the finishing touch!
The snowmen worked in with beadwork technique also look very nice and at the same time serve the purpose of adding weight, ensuring a clean drape.

This pattern is designed for sizes 38/40.
However, the included cut and the gauge make it possible to make any size!

A detailed description guides you through the entire knitting process.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

A beautiful “cozy loop scarf” that is
perfectly suitable for beginners,

The pattern for it is super easy,

you only need knit and purl stitches to knit it,

for materials you would need 50 g each of Garzato Fleece and Silkhair,
both by Lana Grossa,
The different materials create the effect!
