Made from fine merino lace yarns or cashmere—what a dream:

Knitting Pattern Triangular Shawl CHIEMSEE WAVES

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

shown here in a cuddly-soft merino lace yarn by Ferner in the finished measurements 150 cm x 65 cm (or custom measurements). No gauge required. Any yarn of your choice can be used.

The download includes

  • a detailed PDF knitting pattern, illustrated and explained (21 pages), with a short version for printing
  • PDF basic knitting techniques incl. crocheting chain stitches and slip stitches
These knitting skills are used:
casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, increasing stitches from the strand between stitches, knitting through the back loop and purling through the back loop, yarn overs, knitting stitches together, slip-slip-knit decreases, binding off stitches

Material:
Basically, any thin yarn of your choice with the appropriate needle size + one needle size larger than recommended on the ball band can be used.
Used here: 50 g light turquoise + 50 g darker turquoise Ferner Wolle Merino Lace hand-dyed, 100% merino, 50 g – 250 m for needle size 2.0 to 3.0; used here: circular knitting needles 3.0 with different cable lengths (60 cm for the start, then switch to 80 cm cable length), circular knitting needle 4.0 at least 80 cm cable length; yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors; crochet hook size 2.5.

Looks elegant and sophisticated:
Cardigan/Knitted Jacket Gita - Sizes 36 to 42 One Size

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

A lightweight knit - back length here approx. 71 cm - for all seasons – whether worn over or underneath – simple and with an eye-catching collar area. Both patterns used are absolutely easy (only knit and purl stitches). The collar design requires a bit of attention (possibly difficult for beginners). Unlike the “Margit” model, the sleeves are knitted with a sleeve cap.

The illustrated pattern with stitch- and row-by-row instructions is based on a gauge of approx. 14.5 sts = approx. 10 cm with size 6.0 knitting needles. Due to the relaxed shape and stretchiness of the jacket, one stitch more or less is not too significant. If your gauge differs more substantially, please choose a larger or smaller knitting needle size. The pattern does not include a knitting tutorial, but does include relevant link tips.

We need
225 g KidSilk by Austermann, color 40 Emerald, 75% kid mohair, 25% silk, information according to the ball band: needles 3–4, 18 sts x 26 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm, hand wash, 25 g – 225 m yardage; alternative yarns are listed in the pattern.

Used here: size 6.0 knitting needles, pins, measuring tape, yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors, stitch markers, row counter if needed.

A touch of luxury certainly calls for at least one strand of Lurex. And that belongs right here:

Dragon Tail "Dream of Orient"

With a 200 g cake, this piece is crocheted in no time. If you know chain stitches, single crochet, and double crochet, you shouldn’t hesitate!
