A
lightweight knit - back length here approx. 71 cm - for all seasons – whether worn over or underneath – simple and with an eye-catching collar area. Both patterns used are absolutely easy (only knit and purl stitches). The collar design requires a bit of attention (possibly difficult for beginners). Unlike the “Margit” model, the sleeves are knitted with a sleeve cap.
The
illustrated pattern with stitch- and row-by-row instructions is based on a gauge of approx. 14.5 sts = approx. 10 cm with size 6.0 knitting needles. Due to the relaxed shape and stretchiness of the jacket, one stitch more or less is not too significant. If your gauge differs more substantially, please choose a larger or smaller knitting needle size. The pattern does not include a knitting tutorial, but does include relevant link tips.
