This value set of the gnome family, including the gnome house, is suitable for many purposes. Lots of small things can be stored inside. The gnomes can be crocheted as an Advent calendar for children. And then a larger gift is hidden in the gnome house on Christmas Eve.

I use the gnomes with the house to store lots of small crafting supplies in them. And my granddaughter always has something to play with.

The gnomes and the gnome house are also very easy for beginners with basic skills to crochet. In the pattern, all steps are described in detail and supplemented with photos.

By the way, leftover yarn can also be put to wonderful use here.

Here is the value set of the gnome family with the gnome house.

2 knitting patterns: baby socks with cable and baby shoes

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

2 detailed knitting patterns incl. sock tables, also for adults up to size 47.

This will keep baby feet well prepared. Leftover yarn can be wonderfully used for the sweet little feet.

For the baby socks with cable and the baby shoes, the following are included as PDF in the download:
    • Baby shoes "Jakob" - illustrated pattern and short instructions plus sketch
    • Gauge conversion table in PDF format for reading and printing
    • Baby socks pattern size 15 (basically an illustrated sock-knitting tutorial) with short instructions and tables for sizes 15 to 47
      plus sketch
    Basic knitting skills are enough.
Difficulty level for baby shoes: easy; for baby socks: medium (easy for experienced knitters).

    Material:
The baby socks are knitted with a size 2.5 set of double-pointed needles using 4-ply sock yarn (approx. 15 g for sizes 15 to 22). A cable needle (size 2.5) is required for the cable.
For the baby shoes, I used 50 g soft merino yarn with approx. 120 m - 130 m yardage per 50 g skein, color petrol, for knitting needle size 3–4, approx. 20 g matching leftover yarn in the same yarn weight, color eggshell white or light beige (= leftover yarn). Gauge according to the label: 22 stitches x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm; used here: knitting needle 3.5, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle, and a 3.0 crochet hook for the bow.

Both baby shoe patterns are also available separately.

The set includes the pattern for a wonderful cowl and a matching beanie hat. Thanks to its unusual shape, the cowl reliably keeps your neck and décolleté warm, and the hat protects your head from the cold. That way you’ll get through the winter nicely!

You can knit the set from the same wool, or in different yarns.
Either way, you’ll have a great winter set that reliably protects you from snow and cold and is totally on trend!

The cowl is started with just a few stitches at the lower point and knitted straight upward. It gets its shape through regular increases.

The pattern is 15 pages long and includes written instructions for each piece as well as detailed, professionally computer-created knitting charts and schematic drawings. The pattern includes a photo tutorial for the hat’s garter-rib pattern.
