Since this little door wreath (only 12 cm in diameter) can be crocheted using just a little leftover yarn, you can make it in colors to match your table runners or other table decorations if you have any yarn left over from them. It’s sure to look wonderful! It’s quick to make and not too challenging, even for beginners.

Candlelight is part of Christmas, and LED tea lights in particular are becoming increasingly popular thanks to their simple and safe handling. Set in a Christmas tea light holder, they create a festive atmosphere on Christmas Eve.

This tea light holder is made from photo cardstock and is about 4 cm tall; the flower is about 15.5 cm wide. The holder is very quick and easy to make and is also well suited to craft beginners.

I have a truly enchanting Christmas decoration idea for you. Knitting enthusiasts in particular will love it, because a small knitted piece is hidden in the flurry of snow inside the Christmas bauble. It was my Christmas decoration last year, and it was much admired. Perhaps you'd like to make one yourself. Click here to go straight to the blog post, where it describes exactly how to make it.

I hope you enjoy it. Yours, Ina

I also have a lovely decoration idea for outdoors. All you need is an empty jam jar, some jute twine, and a suitable crochet hook. Plus my free pattern on the blog.

I hope you enjoy this project too — Ina

It won't be long now!

Christmas time = crochet time
Nothing beats a festively decorated Christmas table!

Filet crochet is perfect for creating a decorative Christmas atmosphere.
This pattern is ideal for beginners - this table runner will be finished in no time!

A detailed description of the filet technique can be found in the pattern.
A chart guides you through the Christmas pattern.

The finished table runner is approximately 60 x 20 cm in size.
However, the listed gauge and the chart leave room for individual lengths.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

This way to the pattern

Whether as table decor or as wall art, the crocheted star Seihyo looks great in both cases.

To make the PDF pattern—suitable for experienced crocheters—you will need 25 g of Tränendes Glas from Traumgarne as well as a size 2.5 crochet hook.

The yarn is three-ply, has a mother-of-pearl carry-along thread, and is made of 50% cotton and 50% polyacrylic.

I hope you enjoy crocheting it.

When a little light shines during Advent...............

This table runner ADVENT also decorates your festively set table during the pre-Christmas season. My table runner measures 86 x 36 cm. I crocheted it with a 2.5 mm crochet hook and yarn 125m /50g. (If you crochet tightly, use a hook one size larger.) The pattern includes numerous pictures and a 3-page chart (created on the PC.)The filet technique is explained in words and pictures and is also well suited for beginners.

Happy crocheting.
