Crochet Pattern Christmas Decoration / Star / Flower

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Not just for Christmas - made with different yarn, these "flowers" are also very versatile as scatter decorations and suitable for year-round use.

The decorative piece consists of two parts, each of which can also
be used individually. Finished size with the yarn listed below: approx. 7 cm diameter.

The PDF pattern has plenty of pictures.

All you need is a yarn leftover of about 10 g of metallic yarn, e.g. used here: Nora Madeira, 25 g – 100 m, 80% viscose, 20% metallized polyester for crochet hook size 2.5 - 3.0.
However, any yarn you like can also be used with the appropriate crochet hook size. The size of the finished piece will then change according to the yarn.
You will also need a size 2.5 crochet hook, scissors, and a yarn needle here.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows and crocheting in rounds. The pattern includes helpful links for crochet techniques.

You can use these pretty Alpine-style crochet appliqués in a wide variety of ways: as pins, decorative accents, on greeting cards, as gift tags, as appliqués for bags, jackets, hats, and much more... You can use any color-coordinated leftover yarn you find at home for this project. The pattern is also suitable for beginners.

Just in time for Halloween, get this little bat. Whether as an appliqué or as a decoration for your table or windows, it’s always a hit!

Depending on how big you want your bat to be, you can use hook sizes ranging from 2.5 to 5.
For yarn, use leftover yarn suitable for the hook size, or double up the leftovers.

You should know how to do: chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, double crochet, half double crochet

Have fun with this little night flyer, who’s sure to liven things up—and not just on Halloween.
