For me, it's the socks with the super-simple heel. If you were unsure about knitting socks only because of calculating the heel, this heel makes it easy.

Knit socks without an annoying heel, 38/39

You need 199 g of yarn and a set of double-pointed knitting needles, 2.5 to 3.0, and then you can get started.
Have fun knitting and enjoy your warm feet

These are the warm little pants, also knitted from sock yarn. Again, 100 g is enough for the little pants.

They also grow with your baby, depending on how you roll up the cuffs.

Is this knitting pattern for the cozy baby hat with gloves, knitted on two needles

Warm, cozy baby hat with gloves knitted on two needles.
The warm hat with the gloves knits up quickly, and the gloves keep little hands nice and warm. For 0–3 months. This also makes a very lovely Christmas gift, or a little present to bring on your first visit to the baby.

My patterns are always written without abbreviations. Having to look up what something means slows down the work and spoils the fun.
This pattern is also very well suited for beginners.

Top   4

Are the beautiful baby leg warmers.

Knitting pattern for baby leg warmers (0–3 months), knitted on two needles

These leg warmers are knitted on two needles and are suitable for beginners. The pattern is simple and explained in detail.

You will need white yarn and purple yarn, approx. 30 g each, and two needles for yarn size 2.5 to 3.0.
Of course, you can also knit the leg warmers in white/pink, white/blue, or whatever colors you like.

Top   5

For that, it’s best to go to my shop; you’re sure to find your Top 5 there too. So this weekend is for knitting—the weather is not going to be kind to us.
You still have plenty of time to get the right yarn from your yarn shop.

Have fun knitting in the warm parlor

My absolute top #1 pattern is still these slipper socks, which are knitted very quickly and easily without a heel. They require only 50 g of yarn per pair with a yardage of 125 m per 50 g. The socks are knitted with a set of double-pointed needles.
Pattern for the socks/sneakers here...

No. 2 of my most popular patterns are also slipper socks/slippers in a different design. You can find the pattern for them

      here...

These little soccer socks are for our littlest ones. The pattern includes all 3 versions shown and can, of course, be knitted in all possible colors.
You can find the pattern here!

This balloon cover is ideal for all little and big ball players and can be knitted from any leftover yarn. Here is the pattern for it!

Unicorns in all kinds of variations are very popular at the moment. The following unicorn slippers are relatively quick and easy to knit

This owl has a traffic-light function, which is very practical. It does its job anywhere, for example on the WC, bathroom, or child’s room door. Mine hangs outside my office, and everyone knows whether they may come in or not. By the way, the owl also makes a great Christmas gift for everyone in the family.

1. Cuddly Kitten
The curious baby kitten becomes especially soft and cuddly when crocheted from fluffy yarn. There are tips for this in the pattern, too. Of course, you can also work with any other yarn.
2. Little Lamb
The little lamb can also be crocheted from cuddly yarn. A music box was added here as well. That way, every child will love taking the little sheep to bed in the evening.
3. Crocheted Seashells
A touch of summer, sun, and sea... that's what you feel when you crochet these enchanting seashells. You’ll get the pattern for 3 different seashells. You can vary them further with different types and colors of yarn.
4. Barbie Mermaid
Barbie wants to be a mermaid for once, too! What she needs most of all is a fishtail. Crochet it from a few blue or green leftover yarn scraps. With the flower top and the water lily as hair decoration, Barbie becomes the perfect mermaid!
5. Alpine Crochet Appliqués
You can quickly whip up these appliqués from a few leftover yarn scraps. You can use them as fun pins or decorate bags, door wreaths, or hats with them.

Here are my current Top 5:

No. 1:
Evergreen and must-have:
Crochet Hat for Everyone - very easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

A wonderfully easy-to-crochet hat for various styles, so ONE hat model wearable in all the variations shown, for both men and women. Also easy to make for children or as a simple hat for babies (though thinner yarn is recommended).

The PDF pattern is illustrated.

You need these crochet skills: chain stitches, single crochet.
Everything else and slip stitches are explained. Video link tips for learning to crochet for beginners are included in the PDF. No gauge (it doesn’t depend on the exact centimeter).

By the way: A matching crochet pattern for an infinity scarf is also available here in my shop: https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/20003/haekel-moebius-loop-schal-fuer-alle-einfach

Materials
: for the pictured model with a head circumference of 55 cm to 60 cm: approx. 250 g merino yarn, 50 g – 45 m, crochet hook 6.0;

************************************************************

Place 2:
Helpful calculation aid:

This is an Excel spreadsheet for converting a yarn quantity from the “original yarn” to an “alternative yarn” of your choice.

Example:
The original yarn named in your pattern has a yardage of 85 m per 50 g. According to the instructions there, you need 600 g of this “original yarn” for your size. But you would like to make your piece in a different yarn (= alternative yarn). This yarn you have chosen has a yardage of 70 m per 50 g skein. You enter this information into the Excel spreadsheet and immediately receive the required quantity of your chosen yarn in skeins and grams.

Place 3:

Required materials:
4-ply sock yarn (wonderfully soft options include, for example, Ferner “Lungauer
Sockengarn” merino sock yarns or Austermann “Step” with aloe vera
and jojoba or “Comfort” with cashmere)

  • approx. 15 g for the baby socks,
  • approx. 10 g for the baby mittens,
  • for adult socks up to size 44: 100 g,
  • if larger than size 44, then 150 g is required.
Set of double-pointed needles 2.5, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.

**************************************************************************

Place 4:

Knitted Shirt/Sweater 'ALGARVE'

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Two in one pattern:sleeveless long shirt, ideal for leggings, and with sleeves, a cotton sweater knitted in a simple lace pattern . Because of the pattern, it results in ONE SIZE for women’s sizes 38 - 44. Smaller sizes can be worn as “oversized.” Weight gain and loss are therefore no problem.

Materials:
300 g (without sleeves) / 550 g (sweater) Austermann Algarve (100% cotton; 50 g – 142 m) for needle size 2.5 – 3.5; here: knitting needle 3.5.

The PDF pattern contains the images from the image gallery (see above); due to the simple cut, no additional images are included.

Basic knitting skills are sufficient, including yarn over, knit 2 stitches together, slip-slip-knit 2 stitches together (explained).

***********************************************************************

Place 5:
Traditional costume classic
Baby Traditional Costume Knitted Jacket Size 50/56 incl. Gauge Conversion Table

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

..THE traditional costume classic in miniature..

The PDF pattern contains 15 images.

You will also receive, as a bonus, the simple version of my Excel spreadsheet for quickly converting your gauge to your desired size (usable for all knitted/crocheted pieces, spreadsheet program required, e.g. Excel or LibreOffice; the latter is available free online).

Basic knitting skills are assumed (i.e. these are not illustrated).

By the way: This jacket can also be knitted without sleeves (then crochet around the armholes in green 1 x with single crochet) as a vest.
